AdventHealth Heart of Florida ER

I went in with the COPD attack set for almost 3 hours wasn't seeing when I went to leave the man said that they were taking a lot of ambulances in so all those patients in the waiting room had to wait I went to another hospital where I almost died before they save me so probably if I would have waited and at your Advent hospital I would have been dead I'll never go back there again

First time with this facility. Staff very friendly, professional and helpful - like it when you’re seen within 10 minutes of appointment time! Follow up care scheduled and all paperwork provided for contact info with follow up appointments.

The hospital is under remodelation so patients are all over the hallways and a little waiting room. The area is very hot, which surprised me do to all the germs and illnesses. Not to mention than the service is worst that when it was just Heart of FL. Came in for X-rays got out with who knows what Too bad I can't post pictures do to privacy.

Well my experience was good until one had to ruine it for the rest his is Carlos a Tech at imaging department Heart of Florida Hospital was very rude and after reporting him he had the nerve to argue with me but the RN Catherine and the Tech Sian were very professional but the Tech Carlos needs training in how to treat the patients.

The fact I’m 15 weeks pregnant with pelvic pain and dizziness and faintness and I waited in the lobby for almost 2 hours for nothing to be done. It’s upsetting I’m supposed to deliver my baby here but after this first impression I’ll reconsider all of it. Left and went to Poinciana medical who was just as busy and serviced me within 20 minutes. People with IVs in the lobby and no AC they don’t care if people catch anything while sitting there

I just had my first voluntary surgery after 10years of putting it off. My doctor was incredible the nurses and anesthesiologist were all just amazing I don't even remember leaving pre op so I never had to feel as scared as I thought I would I was out b4 they moved me and woke up in recovery with a very caring and attentive nurse and staff.all the nurses were very caring and dedicated that I was lucky enough to have for each step in my journey thru surgery and if I ever need surgery again I would want Dr Seetahal and Heart of Florida. Thank you for making my experience so much easier than I thought it would be.

The worst service. Line too long. Low of employees. Just one or two doctors at the emergency. Waiting for almost 3 hrs and just check my vitals and waiting with at lot of pain and they don’t care. I feel like third service country. Definitely, they have to change the service or close. Don’t waste money in utilities if they don’t provide healthcare services. The reservationist was rude and look like the bus service or fat food “next, next”. Your company lost completely the meaning of healthcare at all.

AdventHealth Heart of Florida provide me we professional and most of all caring for my needs the staff made me feel like a family member.

Top notch doctors and staff. I was in bad shape with a heart issue. The ER doctor acted swiftly saving my life.

They release me without caring about what they found, i had inflammation on the blood results they found it was high the nurse told me everything was good went to my primary care she said my inflammation was high and it can be infection now im getting different treatment, for this hospital you have to be dying for them to give you the correct treatment

You guys absolutely are the most worst hospital I came into emergency room in a fib you checked me set me back in your waiting room for over two hours I finally got up told the person that this was a terrible hospital and left I went to Southlake Hospital and then was shipped to Orlando regional Medical Center where I had to have a heart operation and you told me that there was nothing wrong with me that’s how great your hospital is I think Your hospital is terrible and should be closed

Don’t go here for any kind of Emergency. Scheduled appointments with specialists are ok, but if you are not in immediate risk of death (and probably even if you are) you will be referred to a specialist and turned away. IF YOU ARE IN PAIN, you WILL be advised pain is not an emergency. If you have had a negative experience at this hospital I STRONGLY encourage you to CONTACT their investors and share your experience. The hospital is currently trying to grow and both negative press AND directly contacting investment groups would hurt that opportunity. ATTENTION must be brought to the failures of this “ER” and ER staff. It’s like watching a reality TV series on TLC. “Trash doctors that barely passed Med School” (Maybe that’s what they are gearing up for?)
If you are looking for a misdiagnosis or a lack of bedside manners this is your place! House M. D.a fake tv doctor treated his patients better. You will regret going here. This place isn’t worth your insurance money. You are probably better off asking a hobo on a street corner for help.

It was an awful experience. I took my 5 years old daughter to the ER with an allergic reaction to something she ate. They didn’t even treat it as an emergency. They asked us to sit Daisy and wait. I went back ti tell them my daughter was having a hard time breathing. They made us go into a room and they checked her breathing. My daughter was feeling so weak, and kept saying her throat was bothering her and they still sent us back to sit down and wait. My daughter is full of energy and never complains. The fact that she kept saying I am tired I want to sleep. She looked pale and kept saying her throat feeling big and like it’s hurting down and they still did nothing. I decided to leave the hospital and take my daughter to another doctor. The nurse even asked me if I think my daughters tongue looked strange when it was obvious it was. She had bumps on her tongue as a reaction. I hope I never have ti go back to this hospital. Unfortunately it’s the closest to my house but if it was by choice I will never go in again.

I don't believe anyone washed their hands?
IV tubing fell to the floor had to ask if she was going to clean it or not. IV cup, IVs etc not hooked back up after I went to the bathroom.

Never asked for my medicine list even after I told them that I was a kidney transplant patient.

No wheelchair out I had to walk out. Long walk for me.

Still had EKG stickers on.

But I was given the meds to stop vomiting. Dr was nice

The nurses were dismissive. If I hadn’t talked to an administrator I would t have seen my doctor again. He was asking me questions as he was walking out the door. Doesn’t ask any questions of value just the generic “do you smoke? ” Do you drink? Common questions. I absolutely don’t recommend This hospital definitely not the emergency room. The nurse was not sympathetic at ALL. I understand probably running on no sleep but how obvious I was in pain required a little more tact then “yeah you can sit or stand w.e works for you” I could barely walk WASNT offered a wheelchair not once! Literally dragging my feet trying to get to one place.

They treat me great they make sure that they did wat they can to find out wat I have the only thing is that they take for ever to call us.
