Afshari Sohrab MD, Jacksonville FL

I went to see Dr. Afshari for gallbladder removal. He was cordial and direct. He described the outpatient procedure and made it seem like it was safe and easy with a quick recovery time; it was. A week after, I went to see him for follow-up where he checked my surgery site (s) which were healing nicely. He seems to be a very thorough Doctor concerned with doing the procedure right. His staff at the office also deserve a mention since they are very friendly yet professional. I would definitely recommend him for your general surgery needs.

I recently had family member who saw this provided. He is very attentive and kind. He really cares about his patient and pre and post surgery.

Dr Afshari took real good care of me back around 1986 or 1987. We thought my Appendix needed to come out but I had a Cyst on my Ovary as big as a grapefruit & Dr Afshari removed it just in time! He also removed my Appendix they was under my Ribs! Oh my did he have a hard time finding them lol! He told my mom he has never had a Patient like me before! I’m sure he would remember me. This man tried to eat his dinner twice but couldn’t due to my emergency call for my problem! God bless you Dr Afshari! Your a great Dr.

Great surgeon! Very professional and very knowledgeable. He performed a very complicated surgery on my grandpa's ascending colon last October very successfully. His tumor was huge. My grandfather feels way better thanks to all the staff who took care of him but I have to highlight the great work of Dr Afshari.
