After Hours Pediatrics Urgent Care - North Tampa

Exceptional care and demeanor by all! I am a nurse myself so I wouldnt have brought her unless I knew it was something I couldnt handle. All the ladies working tonight, especially the nurse and PA Paula were great. Even tone, great bedside manner and told us step by step what was going to happen. Thank you for what you did and helping this momma not freak out!

This place is ridiculous. We were on the way for my granddaughter’s appt and got a phone call turning us away. This is not the first time this has happened. The person who called is the person in charge supposedly. We are now at the ER which is going to be much more expensive and has a much longer wait. I called to let the person in charge know of my dissatisfaction and by her attitude she doesn’t care. She’s a piece of work. Don’t bother going here. I read a few other reviews and they are óbviosky incompetent.

The lab technician don’t have minimum patience while taking x-ray for a 2 year old, she probably is in her 50’s and am surprised the way she is handling the 2 year old, as she expects 2year old to listen to whatever she tells. Shame on the hospital for not training people like them.worst ever I have seen so far.

If I can choose 0 stars I would, I have been bribing my kids here for many years and the service here has gotten so horrible. I brought my son in due to asthma and we were put in a room after almost 2 hours of waiting in the car my son was coughing non stop to the point that he was throwing up. After and hour I stepped out the room and seen about 5 employees sitting around doing nothing I asked how long for the wait they said 3 more kids. 20 minutes later they come and ask me if I want any testing done while I’m here (mind you I been here for over 2 hours) no one ever came in to check if my son was ok or if he needed anything due to all the coughing he did

Not a very thorough assessment from your Physician assistant. We went to the hospital as he recommended and it was not appendicitis. Just seemed like he wanted us in and out. Poor bedside mannerism and didn’t use lay terms. I think he thought I was stupid.

Worse kids urgent care ever. I been coming here for many years and today they refuse to see my daughter because they felt her ear infection was not important enough for them to treat. The facility is a urgent care for a reason to take care of stuff like ear infections when you can't see the primary. I am medical professional myself so I know very well how it works. And to top it off there was male staff there not sure if he was nurse there he was extremely rude unprofessional talk over me spoke to me like I was dumb got loud with me and refuse service to my daughter and told me to go see a ent doctor. I decide to go to another children's urgent care futher down and they treated me kind had no issues seeing my daughter they where professional the staff was nice the doctor was super friendly thats how you treat patients with respect and understanding. I will never come back here your staff is the worse no empathy to the patients.worse service ever.

My little boy had had pain in his eye all day due to a sty and we waited more than one hour to be seen by doctor Cheema. When I saw that other kids that came in after us were being seen before us, I expressed my concern to the older nurse and she admitted that other patients were seen before us but that we had to let the doctor do things HIS WAY and that my son ONLY had sty! After waiting longer, the doctor came in and spent less than 2 MINUTES with my son, and he was upset to answer my questions!

I brought my daughter in, arriving during their operating hours, but the staff was more interested in leaving on time than seeing my daughter.

To put this further into context, I arrived with my daughter just prior to their 11 PM closing time. When we walked in there were two staff members at the front desk. They didn't say a word to us, instead watching the clock until the time hit 11. Then they told us they were closed.

Worse dr. Ever seen took my kids there and he refused to see my daughter because she said she had difficulty breathing didn't even listen to her lungs and didn't do nothing for my son that was coughing he is an indian dr. He is rude and doesn't care about patients

Honestly, I was expecting so much more. It is supposed to be a pediatric urgent care. The front desk staff was not friendly at all. The doctor had an attitude or maybe was his broken English (IDK), but I guess I was expecting him to be more "child friendly" (since its a pediatrics urgent care after all). He didn't even smile the whole time. At some point told my kid to be quiet when he was trying to communicate what was hurting. My child was terrified. The nurse made an effort, so I give that 1 start because at least she made an effort to be nice and gave stickers to my kids. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

Terrible place. Supposedly it is an urgent care for children and and I arrived with my 3-year-old son, raining and I drove more 15 min to get to that place at 9: 00 pm with pain in the kidneys, head and others, and when I got there the question that They ask me at the front desk if I had made a reservation. The first thing that crossed my mind was that how is it possible for a person to know that he is going to get sick and may already have a reservation. However, they told me that if I did not already have a reservation for that night, they could help you to make one for the morning schedule. Thanks for your services that were of no use to me because I will never return there (the place was completely empty). They must change the name from pediatric urgent care to reservation for pediatric vacation ‍️ I still laugh when I think about it. Worst place and staff services.

Came in today for an xray for my son. Thank you to all the staff who helped us. I will for sure come back to this office for help in the future. We were in and out without a long wait.

Today's visit sucked! I was turned away with a sick toddler (Claimed to be booked up after I watched 2 other families walk in). Go figure

Do not waste your time going here? I brought my granddaughter in on 8/4/21 102 fever, struggling to breath, congested, ears hurting, coughing, etc.they tested her for COVID and strep both negative. They said she had ear infections, extremely congested but prescribed nothing. 1 hour later I took her to the emergency room because she was still struggling to breath. The hospital immediately advised this is typical for after hours and should’ve give. Her steroid and antibiotics immediately. This will be my last time EVER going here and I hope everyone reads my posts.

This is not my 1st bad experience here, but my 3rd. NO MORE! Not sure why you even are still in business.

Never go here. They accused my sons father of hitting the nurse. Who put her hand in his face. What she didn’t know was that I was in the phone. She called the cops after my 6 year old explained that his dad did nothing wrong.

He kept screaming arrest him. The police came and did nothing Bc she lied. She was upset with him calling me to tell me that they didn’t say anything about his eye being swollen shut except it’s natural. How is that natural? Then I called to speak to the manager and Ester, got in the phone and lied and said the manager was gone. When the incident literally happened 6 no sites prior to my call. Unprofessional. That a nurse employee was allowed to behave until he manner she did. I will be contacting a lawyer

Great place. You can see and feel the staff's care for the kiddos. And, while the estimated wait was longer, we were called-in in nearly half the time.

I tried for two days to get my son to a Dr. Wish I'd have found this wonderful, caring, hard working place sooner. So grateful they could eease my baby boy's pain.

These poor hard working people are doing the best they can right now in trying times. I made an appointment 8 hours in advance and was the last one in the door before they had to lock it so no other people would try to come in. Dozens of people with sick kids turned away in the rain, but I do not blame the Urgent Care. They can only see as many people as they can see. That being said, the staff was polite and friendly. Everything was nice and clean. They even have a tray for used pens so you do not use the same pen as someone else. We only had about an hour wait past our appointment time (all things considered this was not bad), and the kids were well treated by kind and caring staff. We don't live in a perfect world where everything goes right, but there are people whose effort make it as close as we can get. I was pleased with After Hours Pediatrics Urgent Care and would bring the kids again.

On June 27th, we where taking care of our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter while her parents where out of the country when she developed a painful and uncomfortable inflamation. We where promtly taken in when we arrived, the doctor and staff where courteous, professional, and very helpful in resoving our granddaughters problem. We are very thankful to North Tampa Pediactric Urgent Care for the wonderful care they gave our granddaughter. The Pediatrician there was outstanding, we highly recommend them.

If we followed this doctors advice we would have been burring a 3 year old child. He totally disregarded the mother's concerns and sent her home. This is far from over and we wont let this go!
