Great atmosphere, beautifully decorated. Food is authentic and delicious. The service is attentive, fast, and hospitable in nature. They make you feel like you're at home. My favorite dish is the birria tacos. They're so so good. I'll be there again many times. It has become a regular spot for me!

Absolutely recommend Agave! Wonderful atmosphere, the drinks were amazing! The food was delicious, hot and quick! The salsa was yummy! Not your typical Mexican restaurant. The decor was not your traditional Aztec type, I was more updated and contemporary which was nice to see. The service was LITERALLY the best. Luis was our server, he was kind, humble and attentive. Looking forward to going back for sure!

The restaurant is beautiful, the food was delicious, I drank some margaritas and I loved them, I recommend it, I will return very soon, the service was great, thank you very much for everything

In general it is a good restaurant if you want to try Mexican food, it has a good atmosphere and good food, I recommend it to anyone who wants to visit a restaurant with Mexican food and have a good time, the stay is pleasant.

A bit of the same off-putting smell as soon as you step in the door, we almost left.
Every place that has ever been in this location it’s been a problem.
That being said, we sat at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed a specialty margarita that was excellent!
BEST in the area, and we try many!

Very clean, fast service, great margarita. I had carne asado and my wife had enchiladas chipolte. Both were very good and the best Mexican food we have had in Melbourne. A real gem.

11/18/23 I so wanted this restaurant to be kinda good but after my third visit I give up. The salsa is like tomato sauce from a can, the food was barely warm, the taste was at the bottom of the scale for the six Mexican restaurants within a few miles. I live four minutes away. I’m so disappointed.

I recommend that the owner stop by any one of your competitors and duplicate that.

Excellent place, I loved the food, the waitress's attention was the best, I hope to return soon. The place is highly recommended.

This is a new restaurant in the place used to be Benninghan. The Mexican cuisine is excellent I noticed no beans on the menu. Interesting! My wife and I definitely enjoyed our meals and planning on going back Highly recommended

First time visit, waitress came to take drink our order and we ordered the house margaritas. "Great, we have a special.oh wait you just missed it, and I get in trouble if I try and submit the special price after the time. " I looked at my phone for the time, it was 6: 02pm, we had been at our table for 5 minutes. Not a good start. So paid full price for weak, watered-down margaritas. Well maybe the food will make up for this. Nope. Way over-priced food seemed to be pre-prepared frozen dinners that were not re-heated enough and came to us cold. Disgusting. Trying to bring a good atmosphere with their talented mariachi band, but they were way too loud and over-the-top. First time will be my last time.

I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH the food is delicious and the drinks are great the owner is so friendly and caring of his customers all the waiters are generous this place deserves so much more recognization it’s totally worth it i recommend coming here as they serve big portions of food while your at it you have to try out there dessert menu

I was curious to try this new Mexican grill once I heard so many favorable comments on Facebook. Mexican places are a dime a dozen, but I do love it so it was worth a trip!
Spacious parking with a very clean interior, well lit room and minimally decorated; but with good taste!
Cheese dip is always a must. Theirs was hot and had a small kick, with a side of crispy salty chips. Pretty much perfect but I’m easy to please in this category.
My husband custom made some nachos. They were good… but far from great. Little flavor, not enough ingredients and the cheese wasn’t melted (that’s the best part!) too cold and resembled a salad more than anything else.
I got the Birria tacos. Fantastic! The consume had lots of onions, meat and cilantro and held a wonderful smoky flavor. The tacos were huge! Very fresh and flavorful with loads of tender meat, however, next time I will ask for more cheese. There wasn’t much.
The rice was the worst of this visit. Bland bland bland and the texture was almost squeaky. I ate two bites and pushed the rest aside.
The service was prompt and courteous.
All in all, this place seems solid. Prices are maybe a few dollars over the average Mexican spot, but they seem to have more of a Tex Mex vibe which is welcomed compared to the usual “Americanized” Mexican food most of us are accustomed to.

Really enjoyed the flavor and quantity of food for the price. Quick service and friendly staff. Live music was a great touch and really talented. Overall made a date night amazing! Veggie Quesadilla was unique and delicious. Margaritas and choice of tequilas was good.

First of all I will leave my opinion because my opinion is worth it and the food does not have a second taste when I ordered my horde by phone they say they do not speak Spanish when in reality it is a Mexican restaurant if no one speaks Spanish do not say that it is a Mexican restaurant because it is not and thirdly they look at you with racism that is not good

My husband & I decided to go for lunch. Great idea! We were greeted with a smile. The dinning was very nicely decorated. It was clean & looked to have a nice bar. We had an awesome server. I think her name was Sarah (on receipt). She's the one that greeted us as well. She was very friendly, professional & polite. She was attentive to us & always had a great smile. The food was delicious. I had the number 6 lunch combo which was a burrito & an enchilada. I got them both with beef. My husband had a chicken quesadilla. It was so overflowing that the 2 sides wouldn't come together. He had a level 4 margarita that knocked his socks off! It was a really good lunch. This was the first time in a long time that we ate it all & didn't take leftovers. We will definitely go back! They have great salsa too!

We decided to try this newer place that used to be bennigans. Went when they first opened for the day, and there were only about 1 or 2 other tables with people at them. Service was exceptional, for drinks, food an follow up.

For the food part. The chips and salsa were good. Salsa had good flavor and was not chunky, but also not watery. Flavorful but heavy cilantro. I don't believe the chips are homemade, and neither were the tortillas served with our entrees. But all in all, it's still good tasting.
One of us had Pollo Loco and the other Pollo Chipotle. Both are very tasty and seasoned well. The chipotle sauce is not too spicy and paired nicely with the chicken. The plates come with a small portion of salad with sour cream and guacamole, and rice. All of the food was good and the margaritas were also good. Basic house margarita goes well and is less expensive than the others.
The only thing I gave this one less star for are the prices. It is a little higher end atmosphere here, but so are the prices. Seems a little pricey for my mexican food standards, but putting into consideration the good service and food, for 2 entrées and 2 margs, $50 without tip.

Nice new mexican restaurant. Drinks we're on point, and on special. Had a great time with the family. The food was good. Chips and salsa were good. The service was phenomenal.
