AHI SUSHI BAR reviews
20 What an absolute gem of a place: the owner is incredibly kind, patient and welcoming. We had a wonderful meal with 13 piece omakase but there is a separate small menu ala carte If you prefer. Everything is high quality and patiently pieced together.
Really really nice experience.
Absolutely the best sushi in Miami. This place is a hidden gem in the middle of Little Havana. The fish is as fresh as it gets and the rolls are absolutely delicious. The hamachi ponzu and rainbow roll are a must!
As good as any sushi I’ve ever had - pricey but definitely worth it if you appreciate good sushi.
Best Omakase experience I’ve had in Miami. Highly recommend on all levels. Worth every penny.
Fantastic omakase experience. Each bite was balanced and thoughtfully prepared, with top notch fish quality. The chef and his assistant were kind, knowledgeable and took care of each guest well. Will absolutely be back!
Fabulous quality fish, amazing taste and very fresh. Very personal service as it's a small space so the guy behind the counter serves you personally and gives you each roll as it's ready. You'll want more and more rolls!
Let me tell you about this little sushi counter tucked away with the most bomb Korean sushi master in Little Havana Calle Ocho. A place that only sits about 8 and BYOB. A truly hidden gem with each piece beautifully cut. They source the freshest Japanese fish which makes each piece taste and melt like butter. Not only is this unassuming sushi counter a top on my list but, it's great watching all the craziness walk by while you're eating little delicate pieces. If you're into no frills dining in Miami, you need to put this on your list!
Best sushi I've had in a long time. Fantastic experience! Highly suggest dining omakase with some friends.
Had the Omakase experience. Brian and his assistant Focus (might be different spelling) provide mouthwatering after mouthwatering selections that were unforgettable. The thin sliced tuna toro with uni and the torched scallops and the Spanish mackerel were highlights in a meal that had no low lights. Thank you Brian and Focus, can’t wait to come back.
Way way waaaaaaaay over priced. First of all, NOT an authentic Japanese sushi. Owned by rude Korean.but doesnt matter if he is accomodating customers and makes good sushi. The chef/ owner is NOT accomodating, when we had a request to make our Tekka Maki with seaweed outside, he told us to order what is in the menu, and he seem very annoyed. He is not a good chef to be in the front to service customers, but may be goos to just work in grocery store corner sushi where he does not have to interact with customers. Not recommended at all. Not coming back here ever again. Two thumbs down.
This was by far one of my favorite meals I've ever had. Chef Brian was very kind and had served great, carefully crafted dishes. As other reviews have mentioned, its a small place and I'd definitely recommend a reservation. Not only was the food amazing (a little pricey but well worth it in my opinion), but it was awesome to eat in such a fun, intimate setting. The fish was very fresh and I was able to try new varieties as well as have familiar fish prepared in a whole new way. Thanks Chef Brian!
Really enjoyed this place, had the omakase. The hubby and I agreed it was the best sushi we have had in the U. S.
Chef Brian was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Do not eat here if you're hungry, so expensive and taste like basic sushi from a grocery store. Pretty expensive!
Amazing amazing amazing… Ahi Sushi has been our place to go for special occasions. Limited menu but the fish is soooooo fresh you swear it was fished that morning… the experience is unique… and well worth it… I can recommend Aho Sushi to any sushi lover!
Absolutely amazing. If you are going to to eat here, You should make a reservation and get the full omakase. Each bite is perfectly crafted. The chef and "sous chef" are great. Amazing dining experience. I was a little nervous because of the location. It's on Calle Ocho but you might as well be in Japan when you walk in. 6 seats only, so highly advise you make a reservation and get the omakase. It's BYOB but they also have sake and beer. On par with an any omakase in Tokyo or Kyoto. Hidden gem even though it's on a main busy part of town. Don't want to give it 5 stars because I want to be able to go all the time. Highly recommend. Can't wait to go back!
I can't say much about the food but they were super rude/abrasive from time of entrance and not very accommodating in regards to details of order so we ultimately just walked out. It's a wonder how they function with service such as
Thank you for a wonderful experience! I highly recommend the spicy tuna with kimchi sauce roll. Happy 3 year anniversary!
Best sushi in town. The fish had so much flavor and freshness to it and you can only wish you had an extra stomach to engulf it all. Brian is incredible and we’ll be looking for him when we visit again. Major highlight of Miami/Little Havana
The best experience I’ve had eating sushi. The service and the place was an experience in itself but letting the chef bring us what was fresh and delicious made my day. I hope to bring as many of my known sushi head as I can to experience this Restuarant with or with out me.
Chef Brian is amazing and it made for an unforgettable night out! I also felt assured to see them using health safety measures! ️
