Akumin, Oakland Park FL

I had a 12: 30 appointment and after filling out their intake form I was taken at 12: 40. The tech introduced herself, accommodated my claustrophia, kept me informed throughout the process, and made the whole ordeal bearable. I give props to Obrill. She was great!

Not sure why so many bad reviews. My process today was smooth and easy. I came prepared with everything I needed and followed all directions for my appointment. Checked in and got called back within 10 minutes. Sure the place is a little outdated but I had no issues with staff or during my visit. If I had to get an MRI again I wouldn’t mind going back.

I was greeted when I walked in and the technician that did my MRI is very polite and helpful. He made me feel comfortable.

Staff is very attentive as soon as you enter the door, guiding you in any step required by your first visit or later appointment. Very professional and cordial. Everything step simple and fast as well. Highly recommended.

It has always been said that when you go to the Health Center, you are never going to play, you always have a need.
When you arrive at AKUMIN to have a kidney and bladder US and you arrive with a full bladder and first, you have to register in a Registry, then the question of the century: ¿Do you have appoiment? (something they should already know), then fill out a form (because they don't send it online), then wait for them to call you to get your license and insurance card information and make the payment (because they don't do it online), then, sit down and wait, 5,10,15,20,25,30,35 minutes after the time that, according to AKUMIN, you had to take the test and all that with a bursting bladder. But.the most pitiful thing is that when they finally finish the exam, there is only "One bathroom in the room, for men and women" and when you leave, forgetting about the desire to empty the bladder, you find that there is 3 people waiting for the only bathroom and that means 10 more minutes added to your desperation.
Anyone could very well pee their pants!
Apart from the above, on Friday 12/15/2023 I needed to contact them to be able to obtain the images I needed for my Consultation with the Urologist, I called them 10 times, they never answered me, I left a message in the boxmail, they never answered me, they have enabled a "chat" through MSM, I also wrote to them that way and they never responded to me. I hope I don't have to return to that place!

Very efficient service. Appt was for 12: 30 & I was out by 12: 45. Staff was super helpful.

Extremely patient, kind swift helpful. I’m claustrophobic and having an MRI is challenging but not with them

I had a great experience didn’t have to wait long to get my MRI. The nurse was very polite and she explained everything to me. Clean place.

One of the best locations (1799 oakland park) Customer service is great. Front desk was welcoming and the tech put me at ease as I was nervous. Will definitely try to come to this location if I ever need something again

Went there at the time that was appointed to me instead I was told someone from the call center did not schedule me correctly. They have a poor management system. Front desk lady was very nice and staff as well. This business makes so much in revenue that they will not tidy up management and communication. Do yourself a favor and choose a different location. Thanks but no thanks.

All the staff were great and attentive.only thing is the place is dingy and the mri room has a dirty smell to it like it’s not been cleaned well in awhile. Besides that mri tech. Was great too. 3 stars only because its dingy
