Alamo Rent A Car, Panama City FL

CARLOS was absolutely amazing. First time I have ever rented a car and he made the process super easy. I actually was expecting a versa and got an upgrade to a challenger! Pickup and drop off was super smooth. I would definitely recommend them and will be renting from them again! As we go to Panama city beach a few times a year.

We rented a SUV from Alamo for our recent beach vacation. There was no wait at the counter when we arrived on Saturday evening. Joshua was friendly and prompt with service. We had our choice between three different SUVs and chose a Toyota RAV4 which worked great during our stay. Returning the car was an easy process. It simply involved us parking the car in the same lot we took in from (in front of a Alamo sign) and returning the keys to the same counter we picked them up from. I'd rent from here again.

Rented a confimed price with all taxes of $450 and they tried to charge over $700. Even showed them the reservation. It's bait and switch so I would suggest renting a car elsewhere. *******After receiving the email from customer care, the front desk attendant did not know she was supposed to honor the southwest price after showing the return flight information. Again, go elsewhere where they train their staff and not inconvenience the customer. That's extremely unprofessional.

Excellent experience; quick, convenient and the staff is amazing! Rhonda checked me in and was very patient and friendly. I didn't get the name of the gentleman who checked me in upon my return this morning but he was the same. Best car rental experience I've ever had!

Rented a vehicle through alamo, started with full size, was complimentary upgraded to a SUV. A few days into our trip, the SUV had 0% oil life. Called Alamo and was helped by Jasmine on the exchanged process. Once at ECP airport, Natasha assisted in getting another car and gave us another complimentary upgrade to a sports car which we truly appreciated and gave us an amazing experience for the last couple days of our trip in PCB. Highly recommend!

We were billed $300 4 months AFTER our rental ended. This was for returning the car to a different aiport after employees at both airports assured us there was no additional fee for returning to a different airport.just an underwhelming customer experience.

Pure He'll. Well I originally gave this a 1 star but after doing this I believe it wasn't fair. Our rental van had a flat. Alamo provided a tow truck and a Uber to get us to our vacation rental. I was surprised on being provided both. The original rating should have reflected the the trouble of receiving our replacement and the gentleman who waited on us. He didn't take the time to explain some things and that's where the 1 star came from. Due to the excellent service of the tow and Uber ride I'm going to bump the rating to 4 stars.

Left a package in car, and unable to connect with a living soul re retrieval!
Been trying for almost 24 hours.

Just the worst experience in car ranting they had no cars I hope the will go fully bankrupt soon Just useless renting company

Thanks to Ray and Nicholas who helped me get the perfect car after I had booked the wrong one. They were so helpful, and the car we got was in super shape. I’ll use Alamo again!

Would you jeopardize the safety of your family? We arrived at ECP to pick up our intermediate SUV rental. At time of pick up we noticed during our inspection of the exterior, worn out tires which were already into and/or past the wear bars. On moving inside we noticed a filthy interior; and once started we noticed had been a smoker’s vehicle evidenced by smell from the aircon. We asked Alamo representatives if there was another rental available and was told there was not. We departed ECP. The next day during a rainstorm, we nearly hydroplaned off the road in the rental with 30,000 miles and aparently still on it’s OEM and worn out tires which couldn’t dissipate the water on the road. We had to cancel our planned trip out due to safety concerns with the Alamo rental and fact that it rained all day on Sunday. We called to Alamo on the number shown on the contract, but were routed to a call center. We expressed our concerns with the call center CSR, and he said someone would call us regarding our concerns... Well, no one ever did. On Monday, we were able to find a cheaper and better rental with actual tread on the tires and returned the safety hazard to Alamo at ECP on a fortunately sunny day. We were told we were being billed for 3 x days, and we asked why we were billed for a day we couldn’t drive. The counter guy smugly asked what we expected after having put 150 miles on the car over 3 days - his innuendo was that we had adequate use of the rental and didn’t need any compensation. Funny, he expressed zero concern for our safety after he was reminded that the tires had no tread. Further his smug attitude failed to acknowledge the 20 mile one-way trip to and from ECP. In consideration of the.poor service and.lack of concern for their customer's safety, recommend avoiding this location. Especially if you value your family’s safety, and your hard earned dollars!

My experience with Alamo was excellent. We had a very short wait at the airport in Panama City Beach. There was only one person working the counter, but that gentleman worked quickly and efficiently. He even gave us a free upgrade without us asking. Upon returning the vehicle, our experience was the exact same. Quick and efficient. Will definitely be renting from Alamo again.

It was a smooth and easy rental. I rented early and got a great rate and a really nice car. I just wish the radio worked or the GPS. I know it's not standard, wish it was.

Car wasn't really cleaned like advertised. Lowered the sun visor while driving and a rental agreement fell onto my lap.wasn't mine. I consider a sun visor a "high touch" area. On a positive note the windshield was clean and I could see.

Tremendous service. Our airline changed our flight time and Alamo was great about it. We had a nice Ford Edge for the week. Trouble free experience.
