Alan Dry Cleaners, Miami Gardens FL

I had 5 pairs of NEW jeans hemmed at Alan Cleaners. I picked them up and to the eye initially they looked fine. I was charged a large amount for the hemming process. I thought wow, but I needed them done. I got them out to press them over this past weekend and discovered they weren't hemmed they were altered. Meaning that the "tailor" with the earbuds cut them and then replaced the cut part of the jeans back under the legs after cutting a few inches off. How ridiculous! Who does that? ! And one of them looked so bad I had to hem it myself. A lot of money wasted. Take the earbuds out of your ears, stop talking on the phone So much. STOP CUTTING CORNERS with customers' possessions. STOP CHARGING astronomical prices for less than mediocre work!

I typically do not leave negative reviews and just move on. However, I have been trying to find a quality place to clean my wedding dress, which is extremely important to me. I wanted to call ahead of time to ensure I didn't need an appointment. Not only were they not friendly at all but they also hung up on me twice in the middle of me talking. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I have been living in the Miami Gardens area for several years & drove by ALAN dry Cleaners countless times. I always went other places for my dry cleaning & alteration Needs.on June 1st I stopped in for pants that need alteration & met with Mike & prosper talk about customer service these guys are very professional. I told them I need this done as quickly as possible & they delivered they took the time to explain everything & gave me the pick up time when I arrived which was no longer than a couple hours not only my pants were ready they were pressed which I didn’t expect. The shorter petite woman has a nasty attitude with a Jamaican accent. She is rude. She has no business interacting directly with customers. I called to see if my clothes were ready for pickup. She was loud on the phone and instead of saying "yes" she kept talking down to me and asked: "what did i tell you yesterday? " I said" can you just tell me if the clothes are ready or not? ". She kept repeating the same question: "what did i tell you yesterday? " I went to pick up my clothes but I will NEVER go back to that place. Bad attitude may be common and Ok in her country of origin. Here in the US, I am not paying for service with a bad attitude. I don't know if bad attitude is acceptable on the islands, but we don't do business this way in the US. I have also done business with others from the Caribbeans who were not rude.

Friendly service. They are extremely professional, taking meticulous care of each garment. Alterations service is the best because Mr. Prosper is a skilled tailor.

After all these years they are still amazing. I've moved out the area and continue to return for the excellent clothing care. I purchased a dress for my God-baby and while moving it picked up some dirt. I wanted them to know the dress was new however it couldn't be cleaned with the tags. They removed the tags for me and replaced them back for me when I picked it up after a magnificent cleaning. Small gestures of kindness like this makes them totally Superior in my eyes!

If you've never given them a chance it's time. Your clothes will definitely thank you for it.

Great service and quality work, but the price to hem a pair of pants was $16. I know because of inflation prices go up, but that price is crazy. I will look for another location next time.

This has been my go to place for alterations for 15+ years. The tailor is EXCELLENT and does an amazing job each and every time. I moved out of the area a few years ago and I will continue to make that drive to Alan Dry Cleaners to get my alterations done.
