I ruptured my Patella tendon playing basketball (note: don't basketball after 30, will never end well lol). I found Dr. Posada under my insurance and the first day I had my consultation I ended up having surgery 5 hours later of meeting him. Posada is what you classify a REAL doctor that cares and feels the patients needs and wants. From the staff to the follow up calls I felt comfort and was promised to walk to squat in just 90 days after surgery. Thank you for helping me get back to life and move again!

Excellent surgeon. I’ve had 2 surgeries with Dr. Posada. Bicep reattachment and shoulder labrum repair. Dr. Posada is the best! Both surgeries were a success with no pain (mild discomfort). Mr. Posada is either unprofessional or incompetent. He seemed uninterested and annoyed with my questions.

It only took him 1.5 seconds to touch my knee, coupled with low quality x-ray images, and mis-diagnose my issue.

Had I not insisted on MRI and 2nd opinion I wouldn't be able to find appropriate treatment.

Don't go here if you are serious about your health.

I have been experiencing knee pain and my dysfunction for nearly half my life. I saw all the great reviews in hope I would see a wonderful doctor who would change the future of my knees. I was totally wrong. The first issue I encountered was the elevators in the building does not work, so I had to walk up the stairs with crutches and a brace. Even though I came to my appointment early, the fact I had to go up the stairs wasted much more time than I realized and I was 1 minute late past my appointment time (I was supposed to arrive 15 minutes early). In the office I had to wait what felt like an hour just to be seen for less than 10 minutes. He didn’t schedule me for an MRI he said “you can do an MRI if you want”. Clearly I would like to know exactly what is wrong with my knees. He examined me for about 2 minutes then said I’m having issues that can be corrected with surgery. I asked if I could exercise and see if that will help. His response was “it would be a bit naive to think if you been dealing with this for 10 years exercising would help”. Dr. Posada you’re the professional I am not so how can any of my questions be considered naive if I’m trying to explore my treatment options? He seemed to rush the whole appointment that I had to use crutches up some stairs and wait for an hour. He told me to get the prescription for a brace where he said I can “wear the brace forever”, I’m young do you seriously think I want to wear a brace for the rest of my life? And yes I understand surgery is an option but seemed so matter of fact and so unhelpful. When I went to get the prescription from the lady at the desk I asked her “I need to ask him my diagnosis or what was the diagnosis? ” To see if it was on a piece of paper in the notes or something. He apparently heard me ask and then comes and tells me the lady wouldn’t know that’s not her job it’s his job to know. Maybe I wouldn’t had been so baffled and asking her if she knew where you wrote down that information if you were communicating with me and didn’t rush an appointment as if my problem was insignificant or as if I didn’t have to drive all the way from Miami Gardens to coral gables for terrible service. Only reason I came all that was is because all these great reviews but I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you probably weren’t black or was older or live in the coral gables area. Waste of my time. I’m going to another doctor to get a second opinion.
