Alessi Bakery, Tampa FL

Hadn’t been to Alessi Bakery in years. With friends visiting from out of town, we stopped in, purchased baked items that we love, and added a few more. I was particularly craving a gingerbread cookie. There on the counter were beautifully decorated and delicious looking gingerbread cookies. So, I purchased one. Got home. My friends and I each took a piece and sampled it. It was awful. I believe the bakery forgot some ingredients. No ginger flavor. No sweetness. Matter of fact, it tasted like cardboard. Seriously didn’t expect that from Alessi Bakery.

Service was outstanding. Lots of people there. The other items we purchased were what I consider “Alessi Bakery quality” except that $4.00 cookie.

Ordered cup cakes and smash cakes for my 1 year olds birthday. They came recommended and did not disappoint. The designs were cute and the cake delicious. Thank you so much!

Wedding cake turned out Perfect! I knew we made the right decision trusting these guys! Best bakery in Tampa Bay! The cake looked & tasted amazing! It also was super easy to put on my wife’s face post cake cutting

If you’re looking for croissants, this is not your place ……. This bakery is very nice. They have a lot of assortment of sweets cakes, and all types of goodies but one thing they do not have is croissants. If you’re looking for a nice croissant sandwich, this is not the place to go. I came in asking for a bacon, egg and cheese croissant, and I had to have it on Cuban bread.

Love the scachatta and the chocolate eclairs. Always friendly and quick service.

Best Cuban sandwich ever-Lots of meat and pressed to perfection! Don’t go home without the rice pudding!
