Everything was going fine I needed to reschedule. I called same day hours before my appointment to reschedule. They will charge you $75 and I was never notified about this policy. They say you must reschedule 48hrs in advanced but the reminder calls they send are only 24hrs in advanced. They are scamming people, and unfortunately most Neurology clinics are not that good. Add this one to the list.

Trying to have me put my S. S.on random sheet of paper is not happening. Find someone else folks. They do not care about your privacy nor identity theft. Nasty place for certain and scuzzy looking trash people working there and the place is not clean and sanitary.

Unprofessional staff, rude, disrespectful. They don't even know how to handle phone calls. Highly disappointed

Three years ago I went and the doctor saw me and she treated me very well. I saw four times because of my condition and she helped me with my problem. I never had any problems with the secretaries. They all treated me very well and they did give me my papers. I ask that, thank God, I don't ever have any problems.

I haven’t had major issues with them until 6 months ago. Trying to get my prescription refill was an issue after two attempts and still no medication. Lab request filed wrong, supplements refilled when I did not requested them. Phone system is useless because it always kicks you off unless you pretend you are a new patient so finally the receptionist picks up. Wasted three weeks back and forth trying to get my medical records and finally had to show up in person because the manager called me and said they had them ready for me to pick up since the fax did not go thru. When I got there and after arguing with the receptionist the manager said that I requested the paper copies and needed to pay $30, I never requested paper copies. The manager also tried to prove her “case” arguing how effective they have been for me the patient and in the process I had to stay how neglected I felt multiple times with their lack of communication and professionalism for which I had many proofs. So finally after the fax did not go thru right in front of me she finally printed my records and let me go.

I really liked Dr Cabrera as a dr. I barely dealt with her PAs or NPs because you had to go thru your diagnosis EVERY SINGLE VISIT. The MAs, receptionists, and even the manager need serious training.

Oh but if you want to get a call from their research team for clinical trials on new medications they will be very effective at trying to reach you.

We a patient are the ones that can make it posible for type of practice doesn't exist.
From the front desk personnel to the office manager and the rest of the office personnel communication, patient care, compassion, professionalism
honesty and all that has to do with excellent patient care is NOT existent.
Since I was denied the chance to talk to Dr. Alicia Cabrera I can't give specifics about her. However, I can say that a " Doctor" that doesn't get involved with her patients and relays everything on an office manager, is truly one to avoid.
On my first appointment yesterday 09/25/2023 I saw her in the hall way but she didn't even say hi.
The office is a circus. No one cares about you.
It's all about MONEY.
I can write a thousand pages based on my terrible experience yesterday.
But please save yourself a hard time. Do not use this practice.
You will not be taken care like you deserve as a human being. Not by the Doctor nor from anyone in this office.

Please take your time to read all previous comments to save you valuable time. My father is elderly and the reason he chose this doctor was because communication in the Spanish language was easier for him. However, the problem was that the doctor never saw him and the appointments were with other people who did not speak Spanish. Until one day he got upset and after so many discussions with the staff that he wanted the doctor to see him, it happened.
Last month he got tired and decided to look for another specialist. When requesting the medical records I had to intervene wasting my time for a month trying to obtain them. Every time I called they told me something different. It would seem that we had never spoken to anyone. Finally yesterday they gave us the records, which they charged $30 and they did not tell me beforehand there was a cost. This has been a nightmare.
Giving one star because I cannot give less than that. Totally lack of proffessionalism from the receptionists to the medical staff. I do not recommend this office to anyone.

Since 2019, I was treated, and due to a change in plan I had to let go,
pay $30.00 dollars for medical records,
I need a document that explains why I was receiving services, and they can't do it because I have to have an appointment, to get the letter, all for the money, I explain that they don't take my insurance, so I can't get the letter. Unfortunately I feel hurt, and also for them to give me a copy of the record, I had to wait more than a month for them to do it, a bad taste in my mouth, all for $$$$$$, and not for the patient. For my part, I do not recommend them, and I advise you not to go.

The office staff gives you the run around. I been waiting for my paper work for more than a month. I do not recommend this office to anyone.

This doctor may be wonderful but we were not even able to get in to see her. This office requires a social security number from all patients. I am under no legal obligation to provide this. With so many security breaches in today's world, there is no way I'm going to provide my social security number to anyone other than an employer, bank, investment firm or the IRS. It's a shame that treatment for a patient is denied because they prefer to not provide a social security number. I'll find another doctor.

Over booked always. Staff are friendly. They all speak Spanish and English. It’s definitely focused on business above care. Money above efficient effective support. Not a fan.

Have never seen the doctor. Don't mind the mid-levels too much but I would have liked to see the MD at least once. The front office staff is very unprofessional both on the phone and in person. Will be leaving the practice.

Multitudinous issues from all aspects of the practice. Patients are bounced between providers and forced to redocument medical history numerous times; unnecessary procedures are ordered without much explanation as to why; billing department issues bills as not being covered by carriers when coverage is and was active at the time of service.
