ALL UNIFORM WEAR, Plantation FL

This is the worst job experience I have ever had. I worked at store 10 during my time at AUW. It was such a horrible experience.
The store manager was horrible. She was disrespectful always saying things that a manager should not say. Whenever she was there running the store, chaos always a customer yelling and hollering at her cause she is just so rude and unapologetic.

1. Bad store manager - she has horrible customer service and constantly messing up orders and is ever there when the customers get their order and you as the employee gets yelled at for a manager’s mistake. She is very inconsiderate, She leaves at 3 almost everyday. Or she tries to play it off and say that she is leaving to go to the bank but leaves and never comes back. She calls in sick. Just so she can watch us on the cameras. She can have customers that come that speak Spanish and she refuses to help them.
2. Store Manager Racist - I would never like to come to work and feel like she has too watch over everything you doing, like your about to steal out of the store. She even told one the other manager one time to hide the trash bags cause she was scared we were going to steal them. She would also blame a lot of things on the associates and accuse us of not doing out job when we were.
3. There have been lots of customer that come because people have been really rude at the call center. Then they come to the store thinking its the store associates and they come all hot and mad and we have to explain to them its the call center. Also the call center people don’t know the policies about the company cause multiple people have come to the actual store and asked for a refund and they said that the call center associates said they can get a refund, no problem.
4. Many customers don’t wanna come customers don’t wanna come in the store to deal with the store manager named Marcella, they said she always makes things super difficult. One customer told me she has been coming there for years and she said if she saw Marcella in the store she would have walked out and came another because every year its a hassle to deal with her.
5. When upper management came around she would be so nice and she would tell you things like oh thank you for doing such a good job she is so fake when upper management from the company comes. Then when they leave she goes back to her ways of being uncanny.
6. She also would talk in Spanish a lot and most of the associates spoke English or creole and she told an associate one time that they were not allowed to speak their native language creole because she did not understand it. Then the same rule should apply to her when she is talking in Spanish. She had another associate there that spoke Spanish and she was there only 15% of the time. First off she has been there longer then most of does not know the policies and how to do many of things managers or key holders should know how to do. Then when they were both there she would have all the other associates hard at work, all the associates that work there are African American and she and the other associate who was of Spanish descent would be in the back giggling, and not working, just talking about us in Spanish.
Furthermore, DO NOT I repeat DO NOT work at AUW in Store 10 unless you wanna be mistreated, disrespected, undervalued, and have your store manager scared your about steal out the store They should promote the other manager to Store manager she knows how to handle herself effectively and properly. She has great customer service and everybody loves her.

I had a great experience and the sales clerk directed me to the other store for the proper school uniform shirts. I still purchased pants and bookbag for my daughter. Overall amazing customer service.

The level of customer service shown by Chelsea was top-tier! Truly an exemplary team member who is worthy of acknowledgement.

I really recommend this store. The prices of the blouses are terrific.

While they have a large selection and fair but not great prices, customer service is non existent. I purchased several scrub sets, the two younger girls at the counter were visibly bothered by my purchase as it interrupted their conversation. They shoved them into plastic bags, hangers included and handed me the ripped bags. Upon getting home I discovered that two sets were mismatched size wise, a store error. When I attempted to make an exchange the owner/manager said "NO THEY ARE OLD". They were purchased a week prior to that.

Reasonable priced uniforms here, more affordable than a lot of places. Compression socks, hair covers, stethoscope and a few more small items. Very patient reps
