All Women's Health Center of Clearwater

The whole experience was so awkward and uncomfortable that I still think about it weeks later. I came in for a Pap smear test but as soon as I walk in I noticed how awkward the front desk girl is. She literally looked like a teenager. Never greeted me or confirmed why I was there, just handed me a sheet of paper to fill out and asked for the payment without confirming what the charge is for. I made sure that I was being charged only for the Pap smear and nothing extra before I paid. Then they asked me to pee in a cup and took my blood and I have no idea why because I came only for a Pap smear. The second nurse never explain to me why they were doing that and then she notifies me that the doctor will also check my breasts for cancer… I requested that I have a Pap smear only without any extra check ups. I already felt uncomfortable because this was my very first Pap smear ever and the nurses only made it even more uncomfortable even though I thought female presence would make it easier. During the Pap smear exam, the teen-looking girl was there too and was super awkward. Nothing was done to make the situation less uncomfortable; I wasn’t too excited to get something placed inside me for testing.
The doctor wasted my time ranting why I should be an organ donor and other unnecessary storytelling. He never told me what the procedure would look like (I had to YouTube it in the lobby!) and just went right into it. At the end, I ended up, asking him a bunch of questions because he gave me no information on my concerns. Also, he seemed uneducated about the menstrual cycle of a women as a gynecologist. At the end I paid $180 for him to tell me what I already knew. They said they’ll mail me lab results. I didn’t get lab form instead I received a typed up letter that says “Your results came back: normal”. That’s exactly what they told me at the clinic. The the letter included no form with the description of everything that a Pap smear is tested for and what the result of that was. The whole experience was so uncomfortable and unprofessional. I’m never going back.

Also the nurse ranted to me about why she doesn’t have kids with her husband because he’s a psychopath after I told her I’m family planning with mine. So unprofessional! Stay AWAY

The ladies that work here are very kind and informative. I wish I had been able to do my 2nd appointment at this location (the location I had to do my 2nd appointment at bc of medical reasons was not as personable- at all). But the Clearwater office was amazing and I would 100% recommend for any & all of your ‘womanly’ needs!

I can’t say enough words about the staff at this clinic. They are so amazing and caring. Everything is so fast there as well so you don’t spend your whole day waiting. Would recommend!
