Been here multiple times, dinner and brunch or just for cocktails. Always a great time!
The brunch menu is excellent! Dinner menu changes but almost always has some very good options.
Definitely worth the experience!
The allelo martini is great!

They seat you in the patio when you make your reservation online. Nothing on their website tells you this, and you can't cancel after the fact because they charge $25 for same-day cancellations. We all know we're booking this place for the ambiance - why would you seat guests who are booking in advance outside? My favorite part is that all the tables they claimed were "reserved" were empty the entire time we ate our meal. Garbage service with just okay, overpriced food.

The server was attentive, described the options, and was pleasant. However, the food was distasteful, and the meatballs were undercooked. In addition, the restaurant had beautiful imagery. The olive oil pancakes were decent and tasted better than the French toast sticks.

This isn't billed as a seafood restaurant, but it should be. As a New England gal, I know good seafood. The chef has a talent with fish! The cured snapper was outstanding, as was the branzino, which was simple and perfect. Great atmosphere, very clean, attentive service too!

The most well-earned 5 stars I've given! Chef Nick Ocando did a fantastic job with every dish we tried. The branzino was a revelation: crispy and fatty at the same time, with a crispy quinoa I've never experienced before! Their take on the Greek salad was refreshing with little flavor bonds throughout. The snapper crudo and the octopus had creamy elements that really added to the flavor, what a great idea! The charcuterie plate has house-cured meats and the duck is the star!

I think their cancellation policy is a little ridiculous. You need to cancel more than 48 hours prior to your reservation or else you're subjected to a fee of $25 a person on the reservation. That's too large of a window where LITERALLY ANYTHING can occur. I don't think I can willingly try a place with unrealistic standards like this. It also doesn't help that the host who answered the phone made it sound like cancelling was no big deal (I called between 24-48 hours before) and conveniently didn't tell me the fee would be charged.

Great dinner at Alello.
Lived the octopus, the branzino amd the cacio e pepe pasta.
Service was super nice, location looks a bit liike a french brasserie inside. We will come back!
Ah: nice wine selection as well

Overall, above average food.incredible pancakes, fish dip, shakshuka, spanish tortilla.the only item that stuck out like a sore thumb was the pastry basket.dry feta muffins, soggy scones. Also, 6 dollars per dip is comically expensive. Great service.

I gave this place a few tries. Every time, at least one bartender has been extremely rude. If you sit at the bar, expect to wait several minutes before anyone acknowledges your presence or offers water. On one visit, the clams were bad. On the most recent visit, the kitchen screwed up my food order. And I’ve tipped generously every time, 50% minimum. They have fresh pasta, which is the only positive thing I have to say. Overall, I would not recommend this place. Plenty of other options on beach drive to choose from, all of which you’ll have a better overall experience at. Take your money and your friends somewhere else.

Wow. Just wow. Completely blown away. We were greeted, seated and charmed the entire evening. Our server Alex was incredible. Everything from the recommendations to the effortless conversation, he is a gem! The food. THE FOOD. I've never been so swept away at a restaurant. We had clams as an appetizer which was devine (I do feel like it should come with a bit more bread to soak up the delicious broth) and squid ink pasta with rock shrimp for our entree. The pasta was the best dish I have had in St. Pete. We then ordered dessert, which I was hesitant about, but did they deliver! I was worried when I saw chocolate cake, thinking it would be heavy. It was light and fluffy, the cherry drizzle and mounds of fresh whip cream were an added bonus. I don't think I'll ever be able to top this experience. 12/10

Allelo is a true fine dining experience. Everything about our visit was amazing. From the ambiance, staff professionalism, quality and taste, portion sizes, and the expertise and attention to detail of Chef Nick and his crew.

We came as a team to celebrate an anniversary of a newer business and were treated extraordinarily well throughout the entire visit, with the Chef hand delivering treats with full details on the whole process. Couldn’t have asked for a better night ever.

Thank you to Chef Nick and the entire staff at Allelo. Definitely an epic dining experience.

Just an absolute service disaster. Seats available in the front the whole time we're there but stuffed behind the server table. Sure. Totally booked.

Our meal was amazing! Definitely get the Snapper crudo. Loved that the server comp'd us potatoes with our steak dish to make up for running a bit behind. Celebrated a friend's birthday here and loved the little candle and Banana Bread Pudding. THANK YOU for the incredible service and making us feel special.

We came to try the brunch that we have heard rave reviews about, and the food was fabulous! However, if you don't make a reservation there is no option to wait for inside seating which is very disappointing consider the heat. Our group opted out of making a res due to 60% chance of rain forecast (per the website a card is held and $25 pp no show would be charged). Outside seating is cute and covered, so shade is good but unfortunately no fans. The server made a comment to our group "that I wasn't expecting ppl to sit out here. " We again explained that we weren't trying to sit outside and apparently a wait list wasn't an option. Would recommend committing to a reservation or dining at a cooler time of year.

The food was great as we experienced in the past. The service for our meal was fine - nothing exceptional.

We were very disappointed in being sat outside with a reservation. We we’re early and told we could be seated right away. We offered to wait until our reservation time to have an inside table and we’re told this could not be accommodated. I’m glad none in our party truly required to be inside based on some medical condition or something. Due to your cancellation policy, we didn’t even have the option to go elsewhere that could have accommodated us inside without great cost.

Truly disappointed that NOTHING could be done.

During our recent visit to St. Petersburg we were looking for a restaurant that offered brunch on the last day of our stay in the area. We didn't want the typical buffet style brunch but something different. We had been to Allelo a few times during prior trips but didn't know they offered brunch on the weekends. Wow! We wanted something different and this place did not disappoint. Brunch was served family style and included a bunch of different courses. Each course was delicious and unique. My favorites were the olive oil pancakes and the Nueske thick cut bacon. The pancakes are light, fluffy and flavorful – hugely different than a regular pancake which I find more like tasteless dough. The thick bacon was cooked to perfection and if you’ve been to Peter Lugers in NYC, it was kind of like that. My wife's favorites were the cardamom French toast and the Shakshuka (which is poached eggs in a spicy tomato sauce). We both loved the deviled eggs and especially the papas bravas. Seriously on the papas bravas: these were small white potatoes smashed down gently then fried and covered in a sauce upon serving. The outside was crisp while the inside was super tender. The sauce the potatoes were tossed in was divine and I have to say this was also a highlight to the meal even weeks later (we visited in mid-July).

I have to give a shout out to the sommelier / wine director, Michelle. She not only helped us with our wine selection, but spent a few minutes talking about wine and champagne with us. I have a fair amount of wine knowledge, yet Michelle’s in-depth knowledge of the history and regions where the wines are produced is remarkable to the point where we wanted to ask her to pull up a chair, pour her a glass, and keep up the discussion.

I'd also highly recommend the espresso martini; it is the best I ever had. The “Sumac That” and the “Spanish Gin and Tonic” are also delicious and beautiful in presentation. The “Lost in a Daydream” is beautiful and good if you like Mezcal tequila, not my wife’s favorite, but I am a fan.

I'm happy that this place doesn't only look beautiful but has great service, food, and drinks. If we're sitting at the bar or having a meal, it is always a good experience. Looking forward to our next visit when in town.

Went for brunch without reservation. Went to bar while waiting to be sat, I said was just getting a drink while waited for party to arrive, was told by host that we could not sit at bar with party of 5 it would not be safe, which we were not planning on. But remarks seemed snarky. Was told could only out outside, could not get on waitlist to sit inside. Sat outside, no fans and very slow service outside. Was told by waiter they were not expecting parties to sit outside. Went inside to use bathroom and there were plenty of tables open. Food was fantastic would come back if we could get better service.
