Worst experience ever in a Doctors office, the front desk KELLY was rude, my appointment was scheduled at 3: 30pm and got there on time but according to her we were supposed to be there 30 minutes earlier in order to be seen and UNFORTUNATELY I will have to reschedule and the next available appointment is in 3 weeks. It took me a month to get an appointment in the first place for my 3 year old son to be seen.

I would never recommend this office, if I can give a O star I definitely would.

No one ever picks up the phone except in the billing department. Trish is great. Dr. Hatab is great but just simple answering a phone or getting an answer to a question is impossible. It’s actually the easiest thing to do too so I’m left dumbfounded. I like the people, but the phone system or whoever is supposed to answer it needs to hear this.

This is absolutely horrible! I've been here in the waiting area for over two hours only to find out they needed to get authorization from the insurance company before the visit. Neither one of their office staff tried to get the authorization form or even contacted me before driving there. I drove for over an hour and waited for two hours and still couldn't get anything done. They think their time is more important than others. Horrible customer service. To be honest, they don't even deserve a star.

Dr. Sandra Downes was my allergy doctor for about 3 months. She was very gracious and well educated. She took a lot of time with me to find out what my allergy problem was. After a lot of blood work and skin tests we were not able to find the problem. She was adamant about getting to the bottom of the cause. Unfortunately she passed away before my next appointment which I looked forward to. The staff was very nice and did a good job. Thanks to everyone there!

Apparently the doctors here think their time is more valuable than their patients. Every single time I’ve been here I wait at least an hour before seeing the doctor. Special needs children.any children really.lose their minds with that pretty quick. Aggravated and looking for a new allergist.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I got home to see a bills of over $500 due to their mistake! They said that insurance covered it originally but it didn't and instead of informing me of this prior they just went on with the testing and then sent the bill.   Also when they do the skin testing on backs they use the same ball point pen on everyone which I find unsanitary when they could easily afford to get disposable surgical markers with what they charge.   Finally the wait time is outrageous, expect to wait at least 45 minutes after your scheduled time to be seen, and when making your next appointment they're booked for months out when the doctor says to come back in 3-4 weeks!

I have never had a worse experience with a doctor’s office before. I came in as a new patient. When I went to make a follow up appointment (as instructed by the doctor) for 2-4 weeks later, I was told they had no appointments available (in ANY of their office locations) for 3 months. I immediately requested a refund and was brushed off. I got a call over 24 hours later telling me they had found an appointment for me which I declined. It was clear they were either A) too disorganized to handle new patients or B) too busy to handle new patients. I was denied a refund and told they couldn’t do anything for me.

If you are taking on new patients you need to guarantee you have the availability to handle said patients.

Essentially, I wasted money on an initial visit that I’m now going to have to go spend at another doctor.

On top of all that, there were several issues throughout my appointment -

1) Doctor Dominguez was incredibly rude to the nursing staff. It was uncomfortable to listen to the way he addressed them.

2) Doctor Dominguez prescribed me several medications and when asked why they were necessary (considering I was having no medical issues at the time) he informed me it was to help prevent me from getting sick (even though I told him I only get sick during allergy season). So I would have had to spend a decent chunk of money on prescriptions that I didn’t actually need.

3) Despite me going in to explore the possibility of allergy shots, Doctor Dominguez (who also works in immunology) decided he wanted to first focus on ensuring my immune system was working properly. I appreciate the pro-active nature of this, but that wasn’t the reason for my office visit, and MY concerns should have been addressed first. It felt as though he was just trying to get as much time and money out of me as he could before meeting my request for allergy shots.

Overall, I had an awful experience, both with the doctor and the office staff (the nurses were all wonderful). I would not recommend this doctor OR this practice to anyone, ever.

Why 2 stars, this is for the terrible, unacceptable wait time for allergy injections! Dr. Downes is wonderful, haven’t seen or spoken to any of the other physicians there. All the employees are very helpful & sweet but waiting 45 minuets + for an allergy injection is incredibly unprofessional! I’ve asked multiple times about this & so have others in the waiting room & we’re told that they have a new system & it always takes this long! Huh! Something needs to be done. Once my son is through with his weekly injections & goes on maintenance we are out of here. Already called the other allergy/asthma & immunology office on Azeele & they have certain days for appt only injections & certain days for walk ins and their wait time is no where near 45 mins or more!

Dr. Downes is absolutely fantastic. My allergies have been under control for years thanks to her AND she recently called me in about a new steroid free injection for eczema, which I have suffered with for over 40 years. I'm amazed with the results. Thanks to Stephanie as well, for your patience in training me to give myself the injection.

What a professional office in South Tampa. Dr. Hatab was my doctor and was very knowledgeable. He listened to my issues and was able to make sense of some very annoying symptoms. Very happy with this location.
