Amaretto Italian restaurant Tampa reviews
15PEANUT ALLERGY FRIENDLY After a long afternoon at the aquarium, our party of 8 happened across this little gem. With a peanut allergy, finding good restaurants are tough on vacation. The food was amazing, sangria delicious and slightly spiced, and the panna cotta was phenomenal. The waitress was friendly & efficient. Food was hot and freshly prepared. We had the gamut from steak to grouper piccata to spaghetti. It was ALL amazing!
We have been very impressed with the quality of food and service. As an Italian, I can say that pasta has the original Italian taste. 5 stars well deserved
Food was delicious! I had the cheese gnocchi with shrimp. The red sangria was also fantastic. What a great little gem. I’ll be coming back on the regular!
Small dining room with excellent service. Good variety of Italian menu items. Lunch service was very good and swift without feeling rushed. We all enjoyed the food, very fresh ingredients and every dish looked very appetizing. Will definitely go back here for a meal!
Small not well known place but serves really good Italian food. Great service, polite and attentive. If you want a more quiet place with good food, check this place out! And try the soccotini!
This is the best chicken parmigiana I’ve ever had! The garlic shrimp with angel hair pasta was incredible. We also ordered the bruschetta and could tell how fresh the ingredients are. The staff is so sweet and make you feel at home. This was my second visit for take out and everything was delicious and still hot by the time I made it home. We will definitely be back to dine in sometime.
What a great local find! We wandered in here when another Italian place up the street was too busy to seat us. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was beyond anything I was expecting and very competitively priced. I had sacchettoni with pear and Gorgonzola that was honestly one of the most unique and flavorful Italian dishes I’ve ever enjoyed. Followed up by an authentic limoncello cake for dessert. We might have stumbled in by accident, but we will definitely be back! Don’t sleep on this local gem.
The food is really that good here and the service is as great. They have one of best menu selections in the city and I highly recommend trying them out.
The restaurant had surprisingly an excellent menu with pasta and fish dishes that were delicious. Staff was attentive and responsive to our requests. Would come back for another dinner.
This is an excellent little Italian restaurant. Delicious food in a cozy atmosphere with great customer service! 10/10 will definitely be going back!
Had a chance to drop by this nice little spot for a great lunch. Had the bolonaise with shrimp. My only complaint was that I wished the portion would have been larger. Great service and atmosphere!
I cured the whole "wish it had been bigger" the following visit by just changing my order to the dinner portion!
Amaretto is a small, cozy, perfect place for natural and home Italian cuisine. Lunch was delicious. Fresh salad, with tasty artichokes (I will suggest more vinaigrette) crusty bread. The spinach ravioli wow (just need fresh parmessan cheese grated)
The Nonna cake on the dessert list was a sweet surprise with a Cappuccino with a hint of cinnamon.
The music choice creates an enjoyable experience. And the ladies are so sweet and welcome.
Please visit this nice and wonderful place.
The Sacchettoni pasta is SO GOOD! Always consistent. The last time we came here, the food took a moment to come out, but it wasn't really that long of a wait if you ask me!:) Our server was kind and brought us a an antipasta appetizer while we waited for dinner. The app was spot on and made with love. That is special service right there. My husband and I appreciate the attention and care that your staff put into every aspect of my meal.
However, I do want to mention that while the pasta and service are top-notch, I feel the ambiance could use some work. While the restaurant is clean, we feel the atmosphere is dull & tooo quiet. With a bit of attention to the ambiance whether it's decor, color scheme, music, etc, your restaurant could truly become an exceptional dining destination. Overall, thank you for providing such a wonderful dining experience, and I look forward to seeing what improvements you might make in the future.
This is the best Italian food in Tampa. I love coming here. It’s a nice spot with great atmosphere and service. Truly a hidden gem and a restaurant that you must visit!
My husband insists that his noddles were overdone, but I was totally satisfied with my meal. I had the pear-stuffed pasta with the gorgonzola sauce and it was amazing! The service was excellent, but we were there early and the only customers for a while. If you're like my husband who is super picky about their Italian restaurants, you may find this place to be OK. But, for the rest of us who can appreciate a good meal that was made with kindness, it was a great time!
