AMC Orange Park 24 reviews
20Absolutely awesome. The seats are comfy and the movies are always shown in high quality. There was an issue with movie hoppers stealing a family's seats and it was promptly taken care of without interrupting the movie
The theater was clean. The movie was great and the staff was friendly. Only complaint was the price for consessions having gone up. This place certainly beats the AMC in Regency.
Went to see the Spiderman movie and the IMAX theater has very uncomfortable seats. My roommate also remarked on this and my lower back still hurts. Next time I'll pass on the big screen and go for the reclining seats. The movie was great though.
Amc theatres are my fav. Seats are most comfortable, reservable, and their stubs program is excellent. I've gotten more benefits from it than I paid ($12 annual).
Other than the fact I had to drive to OP, this place was amazing. Friendly staff, clean, plenty of bathrooms the 24 theaters, and you get the option of how you want to watch; regular, 3D, IMAX and all those crazy new RDX whatever, too. Highly recommend for the reclining seats on their own.
I haven’t been to the movies since Covid so it’s been about 2 years. However, I will not go back to OP. The only reason we went is because the time that worked for us, the movie wasn’t playing in Fleming or Oakleaf. AMC OP was dirty, the bathrooms were disgusting, only 1 butter machine worked and out of all the drinks about 90% didn’t work and the ones that did work were flat and watered down. We weren’t the only ones that noticed. A lot of people were talking about how dirty the place is. Prices are high but that’s to be expected, but the workers were not very friendly.
Too expensive to take grandchildren. $80 for 4 tix (2 seniors and 2 kids under 10), 1 large popcorn, 2 drinks, 2 slushes and 2 small candies). Next time I will rent movie on the firestick.
Beautiful theater, great staff. IMAX was amazing, first movie (Dune) I've seen in IMAX.
Will be coming to see all our movies here.
Went there to see 007 and was in theatre 16. The entire time, i wanted to get and talk to any available employee about the major flickering. Theatre 16 kept going from bright to dark and sometimes and different speeds. This was my first time not watching a movie through the end but I just couldnt take it anymore.
My 15 year old came home tonight pretty upset. Her friends and her went to buy movie tickets tonight for PG-13 rating and her friends age range 15-17 were not allowed to purchase any tickets for PG13. I went to AMC website to read specific rules for when my 15 year old goes ALONE to the theater and there are no rules that I can find regarding why she could not purchase tickets for PG-13. Pretty upset. They ended up going to Oakleaf for the movie.
Maybe it's a length of time I've been away from the actual theater but it seems prices have doubled with covid and it seems only 1/4 of the theater seats are being populated
Clean picture was great. Popcorn was stale and cold cold drink was good seats was comfortable mine would not open up all the way.
I purchased tickets online, including my popcorn. Scanning my ticket on the phone was easy and picking up my popcorn was a breeze. I have been here before covid, and I sat in recliner seats. I however didn't know that the IMAX screen was still the old seats. I was kinda bummed about that. Employees were friendly and fast. Thanks AMC.
Its a movie theater. Overall okay but expensive for both tickets and refreshments. I do like that you can reserve your seats.
Be careful with their outdoor kiosk, sometimes it will not print your tickets after paying for them and AMC will not give you a refund or credit.
I live the movies! So glad to be able to go back to the theater. It was not packed. Everyone was spaced out and being safe.
I've have yet to have an issue with this theater & I hope I don't in the future. The customer service is great & I don't have to wait too long for anything, even if I'm running a bit late getting to our movie.
We rented a private theater for my sons birthday and watched Free Guy with only us. It was a great experience. I hope they allow streaming soon. It would be great to binge a full season of AHS or somethong at a theater.
Starting to feel like the movies before covid, I am vaccinated so I was able to not wear the mask. I do enjoy the paying for popcorn and drinks ahead of time. Even though there was no line it was still quick.
Everybody was really nice. It was not busy and we were in the front auditorium and I was with a handicapped person. I like the reclining seats. The movie Respect about Aretha Franklin was really good. Would suggest the movie to anyone. Everyone liked Aretha Franklins music.
