This is great place to get a loan from Greg is very good at what he does he will take the time to break down the whole loan process I would give 10 stars if I could he makes it real easy to buy a house and will answer all questions along the way glad I went with American bancshares

This company completely dropped the ball. They sold the mortgage to Amerihome mortgage and according to Amerihome mishandled the VA loan leaving the widow of the veteran off of the mortage. This has caused multiple issues and they refuse to help fix it. Do not trust them.

Everything went so smoothly so perfectly! Robby and Kelly were super helpful and answered all the questions we had as first time buyers. Their communication was phenomenal. They are a blessing through this process. I wouldn’t want to recommend anyone else after how helpful they have been. They explained things so we understood too. So happy with our experience. Kevin is the best loan originator I have ever dealt with. I met Kevin after having a very negative experience with another loan originator who basically left me in the dark about how the mortgage process works. Kevin was informative and enthusiastic from the very beginning. He always took the time to make sure I knew what was going on at every step of the process. He was always available to answer my questions and he did so with patience. He had my best interest in mind and always made sure to offer me suggestions that would help get me the best deal. He made my closing happen in 18 days! It was a seamless and painless process. I cannot recommend Kevin enough. I will be using his services for all my future property purchases and re-finances.

We had a very tight deadline due to a final foreclosure action. American Bancshares as a whole team and Sandy Cobo as their quarterback delivered professionally, timely and under the terms and conditions they offered from the get go! Kudos

This is a review of Princesa Batres. Princesa was what I would consider highly unethical in her business dealings. As a for sale by owner, I should never have received a call from Ms. Batres, but due to a mistake she made for her client she called me personally to soothe things over with her upset client. She initially blamed me for her mistake, insisting that it was my fault she could not make good on lending. Her client was in a tough situation due to Ms. Batres, and was with out a place to stay due to delays due to Ms. Batre's lack of attention to detail, and unable to get funding in time. Ms. Batres, in an attempt to persuade me to allow he client to rent my home before the sale, made several promises that the deal would close on Friday, and that there was nothing that would delay the deal. She stated since it was my fault I should allow the buyer to do so (she in no way represented the buyer as a realtor, and I have no idea what authority she felt she had) I KNEW that would not be the case, but spoke with the buyer and decided to allow them to stay in the home despite not trusting Ms. Batres. To no surprise, we did not close Friday due to Ms. Batre's negligence. When I called Ms. Batres, she was no where to be found.she later texted that she was out of town for a training in Florida somewhere. She said it would close next week. No care on her promise, no care on how that would effect our deal. I would avoid doing any business with Ms. Batres.
