16Cozy, little place. Typically crowded, even on a weekday afternoon. Bartenders are friendly and attentive.
4 out of 7 brothers got together for a few beers. We had a great time. Felt very welcome. One brother was a retired army. We have two other brothers also retired from army
Enjoyed sunday afternoon music but too much smoking. And not enough fans. But do love the mission of AL.
Go here often, not as often as I should. Was there for Memorial Day and it was a great time. Great food, great company, great service, all around a good place to visit. IF you've served, let me first say Thank You, and if you're not a member you should come join.
I had a great evening there. I went with my boyfriend. He's a member there. We sat outside and had our drinks. They had a guy outside playing music. The bartenders here are the best. So very nice and have always watched out for the veterans and taken care of them like family.
Horrible spot. They refuse to serve you. Very rude. It’s like the cool kids club, you gotta be a member. Refused us service
The membership process is lengthy. You fill out a form and wait until they respond to your application with a membership card via snail mail. That can take about a week. You then take your membership card to the post and they give you a key card. The key card doesn't work and must be activated. That I am told by a waitress can take up to two weeks. When asked why so long the waitress simply shrugs and says "Welcome to Florida". They can do better, but someone needs to care. Martin
Was a guest at the private club and it is wonderful. Shadid wood deck lots of tables lots of outdoor space. Great Americans who have served their country have a great place to gather.
Went for Christmas toy run motorcycle parade.everyone and everything were great.had a great time. Will be doing it again next year
AWESOME. COULDNT HAVE BEEN ANY BETTER. WHAT A GREAT PLACE. MANY THANKS, GREAT TOY RUN TOO. THE STAFF AT THIS PLACE IS TREMENDOUS.
Very nice atmosphere. They do wonderful things for the community. Will be helping to fill Christmas Stockings tomorrow.
Nice friendly place lots of space inside and outside seating. We were visiting and my husband had a fall and nany people came to his aid and assisted with his wounds. Thank you to all those who helped especially the lady that helped with getting ban-aids etc. Took pic if this sign outside and sent to friend who lives in Schererville, Ind. Next time in area we will visit again
Nice big deck for dining in pairs or groups. Open to the public until 11am for breakfast Sundays. Very low prices.
Had a great time sitting on the pet friendly deck. The people are friendly too. Bartenders are top notch and drinks are good and reasonably priced. If you are a veteran, you should check out this post.
Good cocktails, very freindly bartenders. Cold beer. Great deck for cocktails when nice outside.
Love this American Legion! Thank God it's open again, just not inside, but the outside is great
