We were impacted by Hurricane Idalia and had to scramble to find a new home to live in and move all our items that were not damaged from Hurricane. We had about a week to find a new spot and thankfully when we called AMS they were very responsive to assisting us. They worked all day even in rain to help get us moved from our 4 bedroom home to a new home and also a stop at a storage unit. I think, and its my fault, I would recommend having them do a site survey to determine the right number of staff. I had asked for 3, but reflecting it should have been 4 movers. Bottom line, great guys and was very appreciative. Sorry it took me a while to get review in, still trying to settle in. 5 stars!

They moved our boxes and funiture from Florida to Louisiana. They did a great job and took great care of our belongings. They did everything quickly and efficiently. We highly recommend.

If I could give negative stars I would. I went by these reviews and my first phone call with them. They were so helpful then when my move date came it was a nightmare. They misquoted me, off my $4000 stating I did not give them the right information. They were 5 days late with pickup with no communication- I had to call them for updates. When the movers came they used the stairs instead of the elevator at 8pm at night. Finally at the destination they said I would be charged another $1000 to have the driver delivery to my apartment. Or find another way myself. I found another way and the driver did not help to unload the truck. This has been the most horrific move in my life.

The Team of Joe and Jason went above and beyond our expectations! They were able to move all our furniture and make 3 stops in 3 hours.
We are so satisfied with their quality of work that we would like to recommend these professional movers to everyone.
On time, very courteous and they even called us 24 hours in advance and 30 minutes prior to arrival.

Absolutely the worst service not given! They charge you too WALK after they tell you on the phone once they show up a day later and hours later then originally agreed an upon time they add on extra charges and fees. We even had less furniture then when we first called for the quote and it went from $2700 to over $5000. $1000 of which they tried charging us to walk to our storage unit! Hire at your own risk! Grimy low down and dirty company with rude customer service!

From the phone call to the pricing for services to the initial move You guys went there and beyond for us. We couldn't of asked for two better employees then the ones here at Anerican Moving & Storage You both deserve big raises! I moved from Florida to Virginia. Joseph and Jason were AMAZING to work with. I contacted them for a last minute move and they were able to accommodate me on short notice. I was a first time mover and they helped answer all my questions and guided me through the entire process, they charged me what we discussed - no hidden fees or surprises at the end. They are punctual and extremely careful while loading and unloading everything. They kept in contact and updated me the entire time. All my stuff arrived safe and sound (even during a terrible storm and 3 stories up!) I highly recommend them! Honest, hardworking guys.

These movers were wonderful to work with. They packed things carefully, and were on time on a long move from Largo FL to Rochester, NY, in spite of very bad weather. They are very trustworthy-best out-of-state moving company in Largo Fl! I would highly recommend them to my senior friends.
