I have visited America’s Best many times and have never had a problem and today was no different. However, tonight (7/23/21, Fri) I went in to pick up the glasses I ordered a few weeks ago. I arrived about 15 minutes before the store was scheduled to close and I was greeted by a gentleman named Gary. He was extremely personable, helpful and very professional. It is so refreshing to have such a great experience, especially on a Friday night when the place is about to close. GREAT JOB GARY & THANK YOU!

I came here on a recommendation, I feel sorry that I tried. I scheduled an appointment a week in advance and when I arrive, admitting 5 minutes late, but I was met with a, "We'll be right with you. " From a nice lady who wasn't the one "helped" me. I looked at the glasses as I waited and they had me wait here for near 20 minutes, before finally telling me that since it's so late, I have to reschedule. You should have told me that from the start, and not had me waste time. I honestly feel like this place isn't worth it and spending the ridiculous price for glasses somewhere else seems like the better option.

Girl name Patricia put me on hold for 30 minutes, I called again and I got clicked on, I called again and asked politely please help me with my prescription. She said she was going to fax it to me. Never did. I called the next day and the gentleman was very helpful and told me that my prescription was expired, that’s all I needed to know! Had I known that I would ask to fax me the prescription!

I walked in 6 mins late for my appointment.after a 30 min drive I was told I was late I would have to reschedule. Mind you 2 of the minutes I was patiently waiting to be tended to. I was super shocked when the lady said do you want to reschedule. I politely responded no I will not be rescheduling…. She looked at me and said oh sorry have a good day. Like wow I’m a owner of multiple business I would terminate any employee turning a customer away with means to hire my company and support my business. Unreal this was a major disappointment and such a shock for the first time in my life I’m actually taking time out to write a review.

Stop in today to get my glasses adjusted they were very bad from what I was told I had the pleasure of meeting Patricia now I’ve been going to America’s best for quite some time getting glasses and I never seen someone with so much care and passion for what they do she gave me the best experience I ever had coming to America’s best thank you so much this will be my new location to come to on Okeechobee Boulevard thanks Patricia

Very nice staff and Great Dr B.
I was amazed at how quick my glasses ️ came in. I saw Dr.and ordered my glasses on Tuesday and I got a call Friday they were ready. I expected them to take longer because of the Transitions Extra Active. It's nice to be able to see again.

This has been my favorite eye doctors office for years. I would come here for my exams when I was living in New York just because I loved it so much. The staff is beyond incredible, doctors are wonderful and thorough, and their service is impeccable. The store manager Tonia is exceptional at her job and I highly recommend this office for anyone looking for their next appt/doctor!

The manager is extremely prejudiced, Earlier today I went to get a eye exam and I called ahead to say I would be a little late 5 minute at most but i ended up arriving on time where I was told by the manager that she had canceled my appointment for being late and when I told her that I was actually on time she had an attitude and told me to reschedule for next week. I explained I couldn’t and that I was on time and she continued to have an attitude she only offered to help after I mentioned I would give a bad review and she still would not let me go see the doctor.

I had an appointment there today. The young lady that was checking me in ask did I have a face mask I told her yes. I had a face shield on. She ask me can I put it on I told yes. I went to sit down with the clipboard and paperwork. I was in the process of going in my purse to get my mask and put it on when this other lady in the office start telling me to put it on. I advise her that is what I was going to do. But after her rudeness I just gave them the paperwork back and to cancel my appointment that I will not deal with rudeness.

I always had a great experience with the service there but I just called to make an appointment and I was told to hold a moment and the representative never came back. That’s totally unprofessional.

The staff was knowledgeable and accommodating. Their system of frame and lens selection is informative and efficient.

Early last month my Glasses were damaged and I called to have them replaced with the warranty that I had paid for. The staff at that time was very helpful and professional. About 6 days later I received the wrong pair of glasses I called and was told that I had to bring in the wrong pair of glasses that they sent in order to receive the correct ones, but due to the pandemic they didn’t know when they will reopen which is understandable. Today April Friday, 10 I called to see if they could do something about it since I’m using an outdated prescription glasses that causes me headaches. Tania, was VERY RUDE and disrespectful, at one point she told me they can’t replace them because I used my warranty, but again I received the wrong glasses. I try to explain my self many times because everything she was saying was the opposite of what they told me a couple of weeks ago and kept insinuating that I was wrong and lying. Her attitude kept escalating which I believe is why it took her so long to just understand that I just needed the correct pair of glasses. While she was processing the replacement her attitude came back telling me that I had to bring in the pair of glasses and insinuating that is my fault. At that point I try explaining her again that I was told not to bring them in until the store reopens but she got really bothered instantly and said that I was talking over her and said “bye, bye, good bye and hung up on me even though I didn’t disrespected her nor talked over her. I tried calling back two times and no one answered, I had to call from a different cell phone number for her to pick up, but the call got disconnected instantly. I’ve been going to you guys for years now and I have never had any issues up until now. I am very frustrated for how I was treated. I have called corporate and made a complaint hopefully they get back to me.

Upon being seated by Barbara, my friend and I were racially profiled by Tanya. We were asked to be seated wherever we liked together, considering the pandemic and that there were two other customers currently seated, we chose to sit furthest to the rear wall were we had a view of the front of the store. Tanya was walking from the doctors office behind us and made the comment “you guys are used to sitting in the back of the bus huh”. In a time where things are the way that they are, it was very hurtful and frustrating to deal with someone so nasty, disrespectful and rude. I’m very disappointed because it seemed to be a beautifully blended work environment and for her to make such an appallingly, demeaning and embarrassing comment took us by shock. We brought this comment to the attention of others at the store but, no action was taken with the matter. I definitely would not recommend this business to anyone. What made matters worse is, when she walked away both customer voiced their disdain of the situation (the first to say something was actually caucasian) however, both were taken by surprise with this very uncomfortable and unnecessary comment.

This place earned 5 stars easily. I haven't had my eyes checked in a few years so, I figured I try something in the neighborhood. I scheduled my appointment online through my insurance, but apparently it did not show up in their system. Unfortunately, they were completely booked for the day. However, the original appointment did not show up. The awesome staff went ahead and took me anyway! Thanks, Tania!

Dr. B was quite possibly the best doctor I've ever interacted with when it comes to examining my eyes and explaining the condition of my eye health. To be honest, I can't wait to go back.

When I was checking out with my new frames, Maria did a stellar job explaining the pricing and options for my lenses. I really ended up walking away feeling confident with my purchase.

All that to say, I was very pleased and happy with my experience! Can't wait to get my new glasses!
