My experience today on 01/24/2024 in Gainesville Fl archer Rd was awesome I came it discouraged because I had previously purchased glasses from them and received them the day before. Once I got home I realized I didn’t like I was prepared to just buy another pair. The assistant manager Linda went above and beyond to help me because I was literally in tears. I am thankful for her help today. Her customer service was top notch and was really appreciated.

Doctors I’ve seen were great. While most of the associates seem to have good intentions, this place is just ran in a very unorganized manner.

I was once scheduled for an optometrist appt and two hours before the appt, I had a call saying it was canceled and had to reschedule. That’s ok, life happens. This did move my initial appt for two weeks. Then, when I show up for the rescheduled appt, turns out the appt was canceled but they just didn’t let me know. So we had to reschedule once again.

Another issue I had recently is I purchased a pair of sunglasses and when I picked them up, it turns out I received the wrong ones because they had the wrong tag on them. I got a “sorry” from them and had to wait three more weeks for my correct sunglasses. I told them I was moving out of state and they told me they’d ship them to a store near my new home. Three weeks later I receive a call from a lady saying “your sunglasses are ready to be picked up. ” Just as I start explaining I moved and I was told they’d be shipped, she cuts me off and in a rude tone says “OK WE’LL SHIP THEM TO THE STORE NEAR YOU”. It pretty much seems like they were annoyed to fix the mistake they created.

I have always gone to America’s Best for my eye glasses. Customer service is always good, they answer all questions and explain everything. Linda, who is the licensed optician, was the kindest person and takes time with you. She was definitely the best.
Totally recommend AB.

Griffin - Made inappropriate comments (racial and misogynistic) and rushed eye exam, leading to incorrect prescription on glasses. Due to said actions, customer's gas, money, and time are wasted. Moreover, customer had a very dissatisfied experience as a whole, leaving negative connotation for America's Best as an untrustworthy brand.

That's what I'd send up to corporate. Please fire him and hire a better optometrist. He can retire and be inconsiderate/rude/ineffective somewhere else, where he won't cost people money and hard feelings.

If there is one, please leave corporate POC for complaint/report. Thank you.

This place does not respect their patients time schedules. There is no reason an office should be running over an hour behind without letting their patients know upon arrival so they can choose to stay and wait or reschedule. 2x here. Both times same thing. There will not be a 3rd time.

The price seemed good. The time getting the glasses was good.
I would not have gotten &paid for 2 pair. I asked for transition darkening lenses and did not get them. The second pair are not clear. Really only got one pair that I will ever be able to use.
I feel like I wasted $100, when I ended up getting everything I wanted elsewhere for half the price I paid there.

I always appreciate the 5* customer service. Keisha set up the appointment and was so helpful to explain all of my questions. Risha set my old glasses back in alignment while waiting for my appointment, always with a smile. Corey was a great help with all of the finalities

From the minute we walked in the door and spoke with Kisha to meeting with Bobby and Rick to walking out the door, everyone was so nice knowledgeable and friendly that we will certainly recommend this office to anyone looking for an eye exam and new glasses. All were very professional but also right down to earth.

Tried to go to get an eye exam and mixed up my time by 15 minutes. Waited 3 weeks for an appointment despite the door saying same day appointments available. I will take full responsibility for the mixup and apologized to them when I found out my mistake, I was not expecting to even get an appointment today, but I wasn't even offered to reschedule for a future date. When she informed me my appointment was at 9: 45 am and not 10: 00 am she was rude and dismissive. The doctor was initially asked if I could be seen today and I heard the doctor say yes they could take me, the receptionist gave me the paperwork for another patient and never asked me my name. Once the mixup was pointed out she was very short with me and did not try to do anything to keep my business (as in just reschedule for another day, not looking for compensation for my own mixup). They did not seem very busy and I would have liked to come back another time or would have waited if that would have worked for them. Maybe I caught them on a bad day but I will look for another place to get my eye exam and glasses.

Had a great experience and very welcoming environment. Corey was awesome and checked up on me made sure everything is okay. Bobby helped a lot with getting my stuff ordered and was quick as well as very helpful! Great location to go to!

How do u send me one eye contact? Someone half blind? This is a major screw up on your behalf. One eye was looking one way while the other was looking all day. I could do eye puns all over on this review. Someone didn't keep their eye on the paper. Only one eye was paying attention. The Eye of Sauron. Now an eye is upon u.

If I could give this place a -5 I would. The eye exam was a joke. The 80+ yr old eye dr was too busy telling me about his 103 yr old relative and his past. Never checked for cataracts and actually had someone else's file he was trying to figure out why it didn't match to me. The people in the show room were nice although my script is all wrong and they only give you 30 days to correct it!? I have to drive 40 mins to get there. Now I have a pair of glasses I can't wear but I will be contacting my insurance co on this place. Not paying premiums for this! Find some place else. Gainesville office is horrible.
