Never can get local branch on the phone. When needing personal banker help the wait time is to long due to not enough staff. However, the staff at the Live Oak, FL branch are always professional, respectful and helpful when you finally have time with them to complete your business. Bank gets 3 stars, staff 5 stars.

My nephew went to open a new account and the person who attended him asked for a copy of the social security, a copy of the work permit and a copy of his residence or citizenship and I told him that I have accounts in different banks and they never ask me for that type of personal information that they only ask for an identification and that you tell them your social security # is everything,

So far not impress with the service, came in the establishment signed in, no acknowledgment from the 2 tellers in the front. Both women kept working assisted other customers before they spoke with us. We sat there till bank closed

My answer to your question of how are we doing is, not very well. When I make an appointment with a specific person I expect to meet with that person or receive a call prior to the meeting that they cannot make the meeting. Two times to date I have made appointments and when I arrive the person is not available, they are “in a meeting “. Does Ameris have too many unplanned meetings or is this just an excuse? It appears meetings are more important than clients. I for one am not happy with management at our Live Oak branch and expect better service. Wayne Hannaka
