5 I would like to caution everyone in the North Fort Myers Florida area about AMS Roofing / AMS Roofing & Construction’s (Known as AMS of FLA on Facebook) INAPPROPRIATE BUSINESS PRACTICES.
We had hired AMS to do a renovation/job (siding/windows/lanai/etc), work that had not started; OUR HOME WAS DESTROYED BY HURRICANE IAN and yet they will NOT return the thousands of dollars we have on deposit.
Buyer Beware!
DO NOT do business with these people!
Go to Landis or another licensed professional!
Even though I have been waiting since Oct '22 to get my roof, I wouldn't have anyone else replace it.
Tried to contact them no one would get back in touch with me

I do not recommend this company. I used this company nearly 20 years ago to install a roof on my mother's home and a roof on my home. They were great. Very responsive and professional. Since that time, I have had nothing but problems getting them to come out to look at the roof for leaks and repairs. I have been very patient and understanding. The phone operator is very rude and dismissive. I can not get an estimate of time that they will come to service the roof. Prior to the hurricane, I had leaks that damaged interior walls. It took months for them to service the roof after several calls. I have further leaks now and have been calling for over 5 months to simply get an estimate of when they might be able to come. I continue to ask where is my name on the list, how long. 6 months.a year.just give me a time? I have been more than patient and understanding. They do not show the same respect to their customers. The phone operator is rude and dismissive. I do not recommend this company because they do not service or back up their work which causes more damage. They are not loyal to their "Lifetime Warranty. " Do not believe them when they tell you that. AMS may have been a great company years ago but the owner/managers must have changed and it is no longer a company that can be trusted or respected.
