Amscot - The Money Superstore, Inverness FL

Absolutely hate this place everytime I go in there every employee makes me feel like I'm a inconvenience especially charles extremely rude they also gave me a fake 100 dollar bill and i didn't notice untill i got home to put my money in my safe called them up and they said there is nothing they could do about it because I already walked out with it and charles was who i spoke with on the phone and he told me to try and spend it somewhere I can not stand this place anymore I use to come here for years but this was the last straw not to mention this place is the most expensive place to cash a check out of anywhere you could go amscot you need to fire charles and that rude nasty girl ashley as well all of them at this location hate there life hate there job and they take it out on the customer

I ordered a varu debit card online and it said that mascot can take cash and put it on the debit card online and I went there and the guy said the vary card won't go thru the system and I'm lile why advertise it online then in my mind. Very bad business here and very judgemental people as well. I went to dollar tree instead and it was way cheaper than walmart and this place anyway.

I've been here several times. Never had a real problem but the last two visits weren't pleasent. I was assisted by a female and another time by a male employee in white shirts. I'm assuming these are the supervisors/managers if the store. Not friendly at all. I felt like I'm bothering them. Strongly thinking about taking my business somewhere else.

Wow. I just called cand the lady on the pgone was extremely rude! Didn't want to aasist at all. Had to ask her 3 times to look up my information and she finally did with a huge sigh of frustration. Will not be using this branch! Called the one in ocala and they were much more helpful. Would drive the extra distance to avoid the absolute lack of professionalism found at the inverness location. My advise is to call before you go and see for yourself.

After trying to cash my check i was told they couldn't cash a cashier's check from a bank. I left and went to Kwik Cash Inverness and they had NO PROBLEM cashing my check. Called the bank and verified, unlike AMSCOT. DO NOT RECOMMEND WASTING YOUR TIME HERE.

Very rude and disrespectful. Only came to location to ask for information and was treated horribly.

Vary disrespectful will never go to amscot again they make u fell like ur a low life and put u down I will never forget that day at all should not be getting a star at all very disappointed wasted my gas and time that I will not get back

I’ve never had a problem with this location. I’ve never had anyone give me a hard time and we get free tootsie rolls. Most of the negative comments on here look self inflicted. I’m happy to have access to this type of service during the down times.

I've gone every week for a few months now to cash my check until I was able to take time off to open a bank account. They have 2 friendly people the rest of them treat me like I'm a criminal or highly suspicious. They question me every week for something new. They apparently don't appreciate repeat customers. I recommend you go somewhere else. I wouldn't even give one star but I had to in order to post this comment.
