14 I was used to love travel on Amtrak. The last 2 times are disappointing me. Pee smell on my room going north. Returning now, the room is not clean, old liquids everywhere, gum on furniture, a few things are broken, running on a low staff. The blue blanket is extremely old, ready to break, and smell. Delays on elemental services because only a few workers. I was really expecting better. Extremely disappointed AMTRAK.
I'm still waiting for my lunch, more than one hour. Increible detriment. No coffee said my attendance, and no one can go back to bed for a nap. Worse and worse. Believe me, I paid a lot for this unbelievable adventure, the worse.
Affordable way for your older family members to travel when you don't want to use the bus.

I go back and forth, from Tampa to Kissimmee I love the prices. And the rides are comfortable. I just want to know if I download the app. Can I put in all my tickets and redeem my points thank you.
Bring plenty of warm clothes bc it's freezing. So many people are stuck in here for hours that are shivering. Plenty of leg room. Wall outlets. Hot food, drinks, and booze in the cafe.
The station was clean and spacious.
Had security - vending machines.

Tampa Union station is interesting with historical significance. I traveled with my bicycle recently to DeLand Florida in order to ride the Florida coast 2 Coast trail system. As a first-time Rider I did not know what to expect. Not bad overall however Amtrak representative Herman Applegate was very insistent that when you reached your destination the train would not stop you needed to get your checked luggage or bicycle quickly as they would not wait. Kind of stressful for me at that point. When I got off the train five employees were standing on the platform helping 2 people. I asked if I could get my bicycle and I was told to calm down and wait over there. I did not until I got my bicycle. Just as they handed down my bicycle the train departed quickly. The moral to this story is the ride was sufficient getting your checked luggage and or bicycle in this matter was difficult to say the least. So get your belongings quickly or they will leave, thanks see you on the trail!
I've been to 2 Amtrak Stations, Kissimmee and Tampa.
Kissimmee station looks like an abandoned haunting house. Tampa is decent but needs many repairs in the rest rooms.
Most train staff was loud and "pushy" as if the train was gonna take off while people are boarding and exiting the train. They WERE helpful when it came to the elderly and those with that needed additional assistance so I cant take that from them.
I Do not like thats There's no gift store or a souvenirs store it's a boring statation there's nothing around.
Their website for booking is antiquated. I couldn’t book on my iPhone. I was gonna take the train home from NC as something different but their booking page kept locking up and or not scrolling. I was able to get my Delta plane ticket though on my iPhone. Maybe next time Amtrak.
Gosh, where do I begin, I went there to pick up my pal from Savannah the trade with of course over four hours late. I went into the beautiful historic building and asked three guys that were just sitting back in chairs. We have a counter if I can go out back first time there, I wasn’t sure, I was told in an unprofessional matter that yeah I go back there. They announce with extremely poor language.disappointed at best
Amtrak needs to work on their customer service skills as you need us more than we need Amtrak
They give you the incorrect information for the motor coach pick up location, call back is 30 min. How can you get information when needed. Very bad customer experience!
They were helpful and considerate. Conductor Lopez was a huge help when I couldn’t find my wallet. It was in bottom of my bag lol
