Ancient City Brewing reviews
14Very cool place, definitely stop in for a beer when visiting this area! Bartender was awesome. Inside was very nice and clean too! Definitely will return!
Place had a good selection of beers and the bartender was very friendly. Was nice to find a brewery away from the craziness of downtown St. Augustine. My wife and I enjoyed a couple of beers liked the laid back atmosphere.
For those of us in Silverleaf, location is good. Beers also great, an flights very reasonable
The bartender was so sweet! I didn’t like any of the beers they had posted on their signs (I am a sour and cider fan). The bartender came up to me later and said that they had ciders and sours available if I wanted to try any. I got a pineapple cider and it was absolutely delicious! Will definitely be back:)
Great beer definitely a nice place to chill and have a few with friends. Only issue you don’t stock and extra large shirts I’m still disappointed. When you do get more please send me one
WTH is this. DO NOT COME HERE. The smell of urinal cakes trying to cover over the mildew smell is disgusting! Sat there for over 5 minutes and no one ever came out to see what we wanted!
We live about 2 hours away and visit them everytime we go to St. Augustine. Last trip we meet Jess and she was awesome, friendly, told us about the grilled cheese place two doors down. We ordered some beer and grilled cheese and had a wonderful time talking to her. We deemed her "Best Barmaid Ever" and she laughed and accepted her new title. Lol
The beer is always good, with good prices, friendly staff and totally worth taking time to visit them when you go.
This place has a laid back vibe and a relaxing place to visit while in town.
We are planning a another trip soon just to visit Jess and of course have a beer and grilled cheese.
Check them out!
Great beer. Great live music. Right off the Main Street downtown. Definitely would recommend.
Nice spot for a Saturday afternoon, but the beer selection was horrible. They only had 1 of their own beers on tap, but luckily had one of my favorites from Indianapolis. Although I was hoping to try something local of theirs. No IPA’s either even from the guest list.
It has really gone downhill. Poor selection, taproom is dark, damp & musty smelling. They took away the seating and game area in the warehouse. Sorry to see what has happened there but I guess the emphasis is selling the canned beer to retailers.
ACB did amazing job, letting us host Deaf event with corn hole tourney. We had over 100+ people. Everyone seem to have an amazing time. We will definitely be back again! Thanks ACB.
In St Augustine and wanted to check out their local brewery. Very friendly little out of the way spot. Huge selection of beers and some ciders. We started with a flight of beers (4 - 4 oz.glasses), staff was very helpful in the process of selecting. Lots of games for amusement and dart boards too. Loved it.
Came up to Saint Augustine for a week from Fort Myers. Being big brewery enthusiasts we checked out Ancient City Brewing. Dani was our bartender and so awesome. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and just a pleasure to have help us out. Will definitely come back- and hope that she is here!
