Anclote Key Preserve State Park reviews
22Such a calm, secluded beach. Clear, warm waters. Good for finding shells. Only accessible by water craft.
A most beautifully natural place, a trip back in time. The icing on the cake would have been the view atop the lighthouse but that is off limits.
A vacation of a place only a mile from shore, make sure to leave it cleaner than you found it and enjoy.
Our children have grown up on this island. We've created so many great memories. I'd rather be here than any beach in Florida! It's our own little getaway.
Beautiful natural area. Full of birds and wildlife. Easily accessible by boat. Sandy beaches. However, no services or structures, all natural.
Awesome! Just make sure you watch the tide. We got stuck but good ole sea tow hauled our boat out with us in it! It was freaking fun.
Beautiful little park. Be careful if boating on a busy day. Cops will be on the water by the ramps. Anclote island is super close!
I was only out there for a short time but this would be a great place to spend the day at the beach and do some shelling. You do need a boat to get there.
Beautiful Place for Shell Searching The Crew of the Odyssey Tour Was Great and Very Informative Beautiful Sunset Cruise
Took a cruise out and it was beautiful! Fun place to stop at or even spend an afternoon and bring a lunch.
Went there on a dolphin tour boat. It was very nice and relaxing. Go to the far end of island to get big sea shells. Bring sunglasses. Sun is very bright on the island. You can also jump in the water.
Really an exceptional little island to just get away from everything. I wish I had my own boat. Would love to just spend the day out there with the family.
We took a boat ride that stops of here for a half hour.a beautiful treasure of a place. We enjoyed the sounds of the surf, picked up some nice shells, the sand, the Cool Breeze, and the Sun we're just perfect!
You can visit this place if you have your own boat or take the tourist boat from the sponge docks in Tarpon Springs.
Beautiful area. Dolphins swimming nearby and island mostly roped off due to nesting terms which was very interesting.
Great trip with Captain Mike a d Naturalist Rick. Saw dolphins and had a relacing wall on the beach. We were on Odyssey tours.
We paddled here by kayak and slept over on the beach. Set up tents before the bugs come and bring a bug suit. If there is no wind they will get you.
Recommend! We took the spongerama tour from Yannys. Great tour guides! Such an awesome experience! A must for all ages!
A fine mangrove and protected water setting. Fishing and kayaking are highlights here. A calm and natural setting is present.
