Grandma's coffin fell HEAD-FIRST into the hole!
. Grandma's arm fell-out & Her head HIT the top of the casket! We ALL had to raise the casket out-of the grave & re-position Grandma!
. Then wrap the casket in a GIANT "Rubber-band", (to keep the casket CLOSED)!

In a time when family and friends are grieving the loss of a loved one, it is very comforting to know that your choice of a funeral home is taking care of everything for you, and this is exactly what Anderson-McQueen did for my family and me.

Our funeral director, Peyton Stanton, was absolutely fantastic. She was very accommodating, listened to our wants and needs, and made sure everything was perfect for our service. The funeral home on MLK Street in St. Petersburg is very nice and the multimedia portions of the service (video, pictures, and music) were done outstandingly well.

The saying, “You get what you pay for” really applies here. I found places that were less expensive, closer to home, etc, but the quality of the experience at Anderson-McQueen was second to none.

I cannot thank you enough. You were always there to answer my questions and always followed up with up with everything.

After a different funeral home in the area was so rude and unhelpful, I am so glad that we found Anderson McQueen. Everyone was friendly, caring, and helpful. Most especially, Suzie Baumann, our funeral director. She was absolutely wonderful. She helped walk us through everything step by step. Her compassion and caring shines through and you can tell that she truly cares for each family that she helps. Suzie made this horrible time so much easier for us. I truly can not say enough good things about her or this company. If you are looking for a funeral home, please look into this one and ask for Suzie.

The concern for the details in every aspect of this process was obvious from start to finish. As well, was their concern for my feelings and my comfort throughout the entire ordeal of having to let go of my beloved mom from the time they came to our home and at our appointment where we made the final arrangements. Each person I spoke with and met with was absolutely professional adding to the comfort needed at a time like this.

I cannot say enough positive things about Anderson McQueen and our funeral director, Michael Shorter. After my husband passed, it was overwhelming to say the least. I wanted to honor my husband’s wish and lay him to rest in Iran. Due to Covid shutdowns, at the time it was very challenging to accomplish this. Mr. Shorter assured me that waiting was possible and he would assist with the international arrangements. He managed all details every step of the way - from accommodating my requests at the local memorial service, to the storage of my husband’s body, to monitoring travel and communicating all updates, and to the final stages of international shipping. We faced some challenges that were out of his control, and I was very involved in the process, but he was attentive to all our needs and followed through on everything. Our process took 7 1/2 months and Mr. Shorter was just as attentive the last day as he was the first. I don’t know what I would have done without his guidance and comforting demeanor. He listens, he’s honest, and he follows through on everything he says he’ll do. My husband was finally laid to rest, beside his beloved mother, this morning. If I could give Anderson McQueen 1000 stars I would.

The representative was very personable and attentive to the final wishes and needs. Very thorough in explaining all the details and took her time to make sure I understood and did not feel rushed.

The experience was very good. The staff is excellent to work with at this difficult time. I would recommend them.

They provided cremation services for my mother and more recently burial services for my Grandmother. Everything was handled professionally and with grace.
