Andover Place at Cross Creek, Tampa FL

Just moved in a few days ago, and I've killed 12 large Roaches, and a bunch of tiny roaches. If I knew it was a roach infestation I'm going to rent, I would have never brought in my furniture and clothes, now who's to say my things aren't infested too.
I was told I had to wait a week for pest control. Meanwhile I have to rent a hotel while paying rent in this unit. I'm so angry and I should get this month refunded since I can't sleep in this unit.

High Rent, High Crime Lately, Literally Car Robberies Home Invasions Hell Someone Got Shot And Killed A Few Nights Ago Check The News For Yourself, What Exactly Are People Paying Damn Near 2 Grand A Month To Live In A One Bedroom For Definitely Shouldn’t Be This!

Couple of weeks ago. I got recently approved an apartment at this place. I am trying to reach out for leasing department and I couldn't get hold on them. Even, I was trying to reach the co-operate number. I have few questions on leasing terms no one reaching out to me. Even tried to call them no answered or never they get back. However, I have sent number of emails and texts there is no response. I lost my patience.

While applying for this place not one single person called me to check in. They rushed everything and the communication was through text. They were asking for papers throughout the weekend through text! The whole process just increased my anxiety.

In response to your superfluous message that negated my experience I don’t think it’s wise that you post the time people apply and so forth. My comment was about the process, not for you to respond back with a reply indicating personal information. So there people there you have it. Still haven’t received a call btw

Please…for your sake… do not move here. It’s just truly awful. This was going to be my first apartment ever so I was very excited as the neighbors are friendly and the neighborhood/amenities are truly beautiful. Unfortunately it’s just not worth the disrespect and the lack of acknowledgment that you receive as a person, from their customer service staff and receptionists in the front office/clubhouse. I was laughed at over the phone when merely asking and trying to understand the process of maintenance orders I had placed. (I’ve had roaches since DAY 1 btw which is said maintenance order^). Honestly I should’ve trusted my gut with this place bc the day my roommate and I signed the office manager was uneager to help and very rude to us as well when we were trying to figure out our security deposit options. They undermine you and literally talk to you like a child. If I’m paying a $1 or $1000000 to you I deserve decency but that’s my opinion. Clearly courtesy isn’t involved within training to work at Andover place as their employees emulate the behavior of the manager, which is rude. I’m just saddened bc I really wanted to renew here but that is just not an option for me anymore. If you took the time to read this whole thing, yeah the price might be good for the size of the space and the area but trust me go somewhere else bc I can’t wait to get out of this entanglement.

"Simply Worst Management"

The worst place to live in. Worst management. If you ran into any issue and goes to site office then you will be receiving only one answer that "she can not do any thing".
You have reach higher management multiple times to get your issue resolved.
Once my AC unit got out of order and it took almost 3 weeks from July 09,2022 till August 02,2022 to get fixed. You can well imagine what will be the situation in this time period of year in tampa, florida. They just provided portable single unit good enough for just 1 room and we were 4 people at flat with 2 minors. They care simply dam.after more than 2 weeks they gave me 2nd unit for other room.

Our AC has been broken for a while that cannot heat up. The maintenance never fixed the issues. It wen down to 50 at night but they cannot fix it. Last time they even ignore my request, never come to check but mark that request as ‘ complete’

This society is not at all safe to live in …. Every now n then there are thefts happening. I am also the victim of getting things, gold, valuable documents were stolen… Here the leasing office ppl, they just provide information how the beautiful society is however the truth is never been shared. This society doesn’t have security gates, no cameras, children playing in great risk as because we are staying in the society of thieves and kidnappers. The society take carers are least bothers. Hence before going for rent or buying house in this society please check on the points as safety comes first.

The experience of trying to apply to lease an apartment at Andover is awful, especially for seniors who are not computer savvy. EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING is done online through text and email and you CANNOT speak to a human being - only a virtual assistant. Phone calls are not returned. I have no idea what the status of my application is and have no clue as how to find out. I feel their process is discriminatory toward seniors.

Andover is a good place to live, stayed here for one year and it was a good experience.maintenance team is just a one request away and very proactive
Bugs and roaches can be anywhere in humid env but till the time you are taking care of cleanliness, you are good and Andover is assisting you with regular pest control

One important feedback - Representative could be more customer oriented and friendly to assist the residents.

There's no security cameras.packages get stolen, my bike got stolen from the grounds. Few people lost gold recently and one guy lost car side mirrors.maintenance is bit better now. But they are not willing to install the cameras even after many issues.office staff is incompetent. They have horrible customer service as well. The apartments are big but not worth the time, money, or headache when you need something. Tampa rent is high but if you're going to spend the money, go somewhere else. Renewal rent is more than the new comers. Not sure How it is legit.

Worst community to live. There is no security system and not at all safe community to live here

I was intending to live there, and if you are interested don’t do it, don’t even do the application that’s the way that those people got my money, me and my girlfriend were looking places to live, when we found this place thinking that could be a good possibility, we put 300 dollars in application, after many questions, we still without any position, waiting and waiting and they were making it more difficult, it got at a level which we just gave up and cancelled the application because not matter what we were doing it was not working. After the cancellation they are now saying that we are not gonna receive our money back, which is crazy because they are saying that they accepted that which it’s not true. I have all the emails and messages and now cowardly they don’t even answer the emails. Ridiculous attitude

Not even worth 1 star. If you are Indian and looking to stay here DO NOT! Thefts have increased, thieves are cutting the patio net, getting in and stealing our gold and silver jewellery. This has now happened with 4-5 families and no action has been taken by the management, they say they are not responsible. Even amazon packages vanish from your door step. If you want safety for your family, go somewhere else.

I have to say we have been here less than a month and I do not feel safe. My daughters BF was jumped by a man while taking out the trash. I have left messages, sent emails and text and have not been contacted by the office. Lots of bugs in the house and property is not clean. All I got was the license plate 39AKCD

Basically a waste of time and money. I should of listened to the reviews. Don't apply unless you have impeccable credit. They do not in fact "look at the whole picture " like they tell you before you spend $350 applying. Horrible company!

I have had to deal with constant excessive noises and when contacting the front office, there is no concern. If you are looking for a place where the office gives your concerns attention and resolution, then don’t live here.

I applied for an apartment requesting hardwood floors, which they have available. Once I signed the paperwork, they gave me carpeting. I have a baby…and children with allergies…that won’t work. I asked to switch apartments, they basically told me “oh well! ” When I asked for management, I was ignored. They do not show a corporate office and the people in the office are very rude! Smh

Money grabbers.make sure you read their application piece by piece.they take 60 bucks per person and tell 175 refundable well it's not be careful dealing with them.
Edit: only after this review reached up the chain I was sent the deposit back.
