This is a very long review, but I feel I need to explain how happy I am with Dr. Bustillo, his staff, and the whole surgical process. I had a consultation with another facial plastic surgeon prior to meeting Dr. Bustillo. However, the consultation felt very rushed and the surgeon did not inspect my nose at all. Just briefly glanced and then showed me a potential before and after, then sent me to a room to talk about payment. I then saw Dr. Bustillo a few months later after seeing so many of his natural results that are unique to each patient.
Dr. Bustillo came in and his presence was completely different from the first doctor I saw. He took his time to look in my nose, feel it’s structure, go over what he would do, as I had a previous septoplasty in 2013, so it required me to have a possible cartilage graft from my ear. I felt he truly took his time to make sure I had no questions left. He was honest and said he would not be able to get my nose perfectly straight, but would do his best to ensure I am happy with my results.
His staff is very easy to get a hold of. They always answered when I called. No leaving messages, no waiting days or weeks for a call back. The night before my surgery, Dr. Bustillo called me around 8: 30 PM to make sure I was prepared for surgery and asked if I had any questions. I have never known a doctor to do this and I have had a few surgeries. It was reassuring to feel like your doctor truly cares about his patients. His bedside manner is the best of any doctor I have had.
The surgery went smoothly. I had quite a bit of bleeding the day of surgery, which subsided by late day 2/early day 3. I had absolutely no bruising whatsoever. At first I was a little concerned at how large the tip of my nose appeared. However, I realized it was just swelling, which has gone down significantly. Dr. Bustillo also called the night following my surgery to make sure I was doing well and again asked if I had any questions.
I am now 10 days post-op and very happy with my results so far. I still have residual swelling, but it looks great. Dr. Bustillo said he would not be able to get it perfectly straight, but I don’t know how it could possibly be any straighter. The small hump I had is completely gone, he reinforced the tip of my nose with cartilage so my nose no longer droops down when I smile. He made it more centered on my face and it fits my face very well. Nobody can even tell I had work done to my nose. It looks so natural and just looks like a better version of the nose I previously had. If you are looking for subtle natural results that don’t look overdone, and want a Doctor and staff that you feel truly care about you and your satisfaction with the whole process, Dr. Bustillo’s practice is a 10/10. I hope he will still be practicing in 10 years when I’ll want a facelift!:) thank you to Dr. Bustillo and his lovely staff.

I visit Dr. Bustillo twice, and this year I was ready to do my surgery. But when I call twice the front desk girl couldn't give me an appointment till next year and she wanted to charge me the office visit In advance.
I think this is wrong. The visit should be charge at the day of the visit and warn the person that if is cancel or no show then charge the amount.
I can only said he just loss my business, due to his staff.

Everything about my interaction with Dr. Bustillo was top notch. From the moment I walked into the door to discharge. Not only did he explain the procedure in detail, but he walked me through the pre and post-op like a professional who truly cares. Dr. Bustillo (staff was amazing too) is an exceptional physician and has garnered the respect of the community like no other. He trained under the best and is now, in my opinion, the most widely respected facial plastics physician in Miami. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have been wanting to have a nose job for the past six years, but I constantly worried about not liking my final result. By giving me an extremely natural, beautiful nose, Dr. Bustillo exceeded my expectations. Not only is he amazing at what he does, his staff could not be more nice and comforting. There was never a moment where my needs were ignored, or I felt uncomfortable in any way. My overall experience is something I would recommend for anyone looking for any type of facial procedure.

I’ve been waiting for couple of years to write this review. I feel it should be heard as i didn't feel the same at the clinic. I dont know where to start.first of all i had to ask for a doctor to speak with him for a minute before the surgery as we were still deciding whether to put a nose bridge or not. I suppose its normal and necessary to speak to your doctor before the surgery especially when you agree to make the final nose changes at that day, apparently the staff was surprised whether i could speak to Dr Bustillo before the surgery.they were ready to bring me straight for surgery. After the surgery everything went well, i had very good recovery, no pain no bruises. When the cast came off i was horrified, it was my revision and it only went worse.it got bigger, longer nose and i hated it every minute i see it since the first day. I contacted them and they told me to come back for the steroids injections for the swelling and i did.again extra money for this while i live in other continent. (that time i booked for botox eye brow lift as well) well.i had to remind it because he or his staff forgot it as well, i felt very uncomfortable to say to dr Bustillo when he wanted to leave that ‘by the way we have other appointment as well”. Well.things happen.
At the end of the day

I hate my nose, it’s too high bridge (im a girl) again i told them it looks not ok and then they told me to come back for revision. Its still 500$ extra for revision and flight tickets and hotel and its ok for the only the result i want. THEY DONT DO REVISIONS! They only do minor changes with anesthetic. My nostrils are very uneven, nothing changed after ‘minor revision’. My nostrils were even before Bustillo and my nose was smaller, i wish I could have it back, that was my mistake of my life.i was only reading good comments thats why i chose this doctor.by the way i paid for the surgery before i ever met the doctor, on the phone he was very rushed and again.i looked at the reviews.

I have no words to express how happy I am with my new nose.
Dr Bustillo is the most conservative doctor, takes care of his patients as is they were family. He is completely honest about expectations and advises exactly how his job will be, no false expectations, nor false results. My nose looks so natural, I would’ve done this years ago if I knew how well it was going to go.
Dr Bustillo is incredibly caring, makes you feel at home and talks about any questions you may have.
I recommend him with my eyes closed for ANY procedure, please don’t think it twice, he is the BEST!

Such a great experience! Dr. Bustillo took the time to explain everything that came along with the procedure and answered all my questions. My nose looks perfect and conservatively beautiful. It doesn’t look fake or operated and I still get so many compliments! Definitely recommend!

This review is long overdue. I honestly can’t thank Dr. Bustillo enough for what he’s done. A true artist & master at his craft without a doubt. He performed two major nose surgery’s on me a few months ago & it’s been nothing but better living since; and only seeming to get better as the months go by & recovery takes its course. I recommend him most certainly to anyone looking for a world class doctor.

Dr. Bustillo simply exceeded my expectations. I went into his office looking for a slight modification. I did not want to see a huge difference and wanted my nose to look masculine. I let him offer suggestions on what to modify without ever telling him exactly what to do and as a true Picasso he executed in a matter that truly surprised me. The preparation with providing a detailed booklet for recovery was also extremely helpful. Highly recommended.

Dr. Bustillo is really popular amongst my friends, several have had procedures done with him and have had remarkable outcomes. His online reviews are excellent as well. It was super easy to choose him as my rhinoplasty specialist. The best thing about my rhinoplasty was how simple and easy it was. My recovery was amazing with no packing, no pain, no problems. Not to mention Dr. Bustillo was always available after my surgery if I had any questions or concerns I wanted to discuss with him.

Doctor Bustillo was very professional and nice. I originally went to see him for a septoplasty consultation but was so impressed with his rhinoplasty before and after photos that I decided to have both procedures. My recovery was better than expected. My cast was off after a week with no bruising. I was able to return to school in nine days and no one noticed whatsoever that I had any work done. My results are exactly like the ones I saw in the pictures, perfect, natural and flawless.

Dr. Bustillo is by far the most detailed and caring plastic surgeon I have ever met. I trusted him with my daughter”s otoplasty and it went exactly as I expected. My daughter was 5 and I struggled with the decision and looking back now it was by far the BEST decision I made and Dr Bustillo was the biggest factor. He reassured me, treated my daughter as if she was his own and delivered on surgical expectations. I recommend him!
