I highly recommend Dr. Angel Caban. I drive about 2 hours from Jacksonville to see him. He preformed a Gastric Sleeve for me. I had no complications and no complaints.

Friendly and courteous staff. Explanation was understandable; took time to answer questions.
There were issues with my original surgery date. Because of my health issues the surgery had to be postponed at the last minute. To Dr Caban's credit, as soon as I was judged healthy enough for the procedure, he found a way to fit me into his schedule, and proceeded to remove all signs of my cancer before it had a chance to spread. Thank you Dr Caban!
The doctor was great. Only complaint I have they never send a follow up report to the referral doctor

Having two failed umbilical hernia surgery's (preformed by a plastic surgeon in The Villages), I was now very careful on choosing my next surgeon. Dr Caban told me that a mesh was needed to repair my hernia. Today is 6 weeks since my surgery and I am happy to say that I am doing great. Dr Caban is a fantastic surgeon and is very warm and friendly. Not to mention his office staff is outstanding! Thanks guys for a GREAT experience.
Dr. Caban and his staff where very nice. I was surprised by how much information I got compared with other doctor's office not only did his head nurse come out and spoke with everyone so did Dr. Caban and answered any questions plus spent personal one on one time.

I have been around the medical field for many years. I know how things should work, and I know how unfortunately things usually work.
Dr. Caban's office was smooth sailing. No unneeded office visits just to get more co-pays.
One pre-op appointment, the surgery, and one post-op appointment. They do let you know they are always there for any issues.
