Angels Senior Living at Sarasota

Horrible place to work this should be an assisted living but it’s most likely a skilled! ED just bring in residents with promises that the loved one will be in good hands! But don’t receive the proper care! Staff dont even have 5 minutes to sit down, people that have potential quit because of the ED! Staff doesn’t even have 2 minutes to sit down and eat their food! Not even 1 minute to use bathrooms because residents are continuously asking for assistance and not enough staff to cover the floors!

Excellent staff…caring courteous and professional. What more could you ask for. The Memory Care Director, Shelley, is top notch! I am a local podiatrist who sees residents in the entire facility. Trust this facility to provide the best quality care to you or a family member.

My mom is currently a resident at Angels and it was the best decision we made in moving her here. Mom absolutely loves this place and the ‘angels’ who help her daily. The staff is always friendly, and willing to help when and where needed. My mom needs help pretty regularly lately from minor issues like turning on the tv, to help with dressing. Help is rendered with a smile and a hug.
There is a wide variety of entertainment, from hula dancers to sing alongs on a regular basis that not only keep the mind engaged but the spirit as well. I have attended a few and enjoyed myself. More important, I saw the delight in the faces of the residents. They know they are not forgotten here.
Oh, the food! Yes, this is important. It is good. I’ve eaten here and always have a delicious meal. Mom loves her meals and she is maintaining her weight. Which is an important factor in senior facilities. In a previous place, mom lost 10 pounds as she hated the food.
Is this a safe and healthy place for your parent or loved one? I would give it a huge YES. Suzie and her team work nonstop to make sure our elder relatives are well taken care of.

Was very pleased with management and staff at Angels. My mom was well taken care of while at Angels. Suzi, Kathryn, Melissa, and Yuri all bent over backwards to make sure my mom had the appropriate care during her stay there. Management even came in on days off and answered personal cell phones after hours to assist. My mom made lots of friends and it was like another family to us all. The facility was always clean and provided plenty of activities for my mom. We will miss the crew at Angels and wish them nothing but the best of luck in the future.

This Place is Awful They have no help Rooms/Apartments are not clean They lie about their care to get people there. Absolutely. All they want is people there so they can get you money NO 5 STAR at all. Main thing they cannot keep Help Why? , Because They do not have Proper Management from The Top to train they are so Desperate they choose anyone. Aand No Training
