Angler's Beachside Grill reviews
16 First time here at Ft Walton i came across Angler's Beachside Grill.that was a great find.
Excellent dinner. Crab claws, Calamari, Shrimp PoBoy, Grilled Mahi sandwich, , Blackened Red Fish, Shrimp pasta.loved it all.
Quick and friendly service too.
If you're looking for a place with great food with kids menus and fast friendly service this is definitely the place with breathtakingly views.
Exactly what we were looking for, great view for the sunset and the drinks were made exactly the way we like them
Service was great, but food is not what I expected from a place on the beach. The grouper tacos were good except for the grouper itself; the seasoning was good but it wasn’t fresh at all, very stale. The fried chicken wasn’t crispy at all, very soft and odd tasting. The only thing worth it was the Calamari. Even the Mojito tasted like minty water with a splash of lime, couldn’t taste the rum at all.
Pricey? Not terrible. But this is not chain restaurant food. It's awesomely, ridiculously, insanely delicious. I had the Red Fish dinner with loaded cajun sauce - soooo, so goood!
Dining solo I paid 40 bucks before tip.
This is the quintessential seaside seafood bar and grill. It's just it. I was enjoying my food so much I didn't even take any pictures to post.
The best thing about this place is the location. Service and the food quality was not that great. I expected it to be pricey but I am fine considering the amazing location this place is in. But the service is so so and the food lacks quality. Spent top dollar on a dozen oysters but they were very "sticky". Ordered a pound of snow crab legs but it was quite dry and not fresh. Being on the beach and for the price, you expect excellent seafood.but what I got was a so so quality. I would have given a 4 star had the price been normal. But for $70 crab, you expect good things. Instead I walked back feeling ripped off.
We stopped in Anglers for supper one night. Nice thing about going to beach in November is you don't have to stand in line and wait. I had the shrimp and grits with sausage which was very good. Sandra had coconut shrimp that she liked. The service was fast and restaurant was clean. After supper we took a walk on the pier right outside thier back door.
Two stars for the crab cake sandwich. Service sucked. We were so hungry and ordered two appetizers. EVERYTHING came out at once. Thirty minutes later at least.
Ashley was phenomenal, aside from the great food she was considerate, patient with our group, and came strapped with the jokes. Definitely recommend this restaurant, ask for Ashley to be your server!
Ashley is a great server and made our experience worthwhile. Highly recommend this location if traveling and looking for quality food and service
Over priced tourist food. Fish on fish tacos was heavily salted. My wife got a shrimp po boy which had a ton of shrimp but the dipping sauce was not great compared to places like Bone Fish Grill. Another person in our party had a salad that was mostly greens with very little toppings. I prefer Stewbys or Boshamps or even High Tide to this place. Also parking can be tight here on weekends.
We did not like the food but the service was good, and sitting on the patio was nice. The grouper was dry and bland for $30. And the creole sauce tastes like a weird cheese whiz.
Service was awesome. The food was awesome, clean, and a great place for date nights or the family
Always bring out of town guests to the island, and it's a great place to stop after a walk on the pier. I've only ever sat at the bar, but have had full service meals and enjoyed the view. (outside seating, and cooking of your catch from the pier is also available)
Food was great, service was great, a little dirty and hot on the patio, but, hey, it's only Oct 2
