Dr. Sanchez extended our oldest husky’s life by 3 years with conservative laser therapy. We got to enjoy him a while longer thanks to her and her staff. She also diagnosed our middle husky with diabetes and is currently his PCP. They also treat our youngest’ allergies and tummy issues. My husband and I cannot be thankful enough for the care, attention, and professionalism demonstrated by Dr. Sanchez, Dr. Cerda, and the staff at Animal Health and Rehab. We would not take our dogs anywhere else.

If you love your pet, this is the place for you. Dr. Sánchez has a overall knowledge in her field which makes her an amazing vet. Not only is she an amazing vet she actually cares about them. This place is not your typical emergency or vet office that they are in it for the money. Dr. Sánchez loves her job and loves her pets. If I can give them 10 stars I will. She has helped my Gigi with her arthritis and hip dysplasia. She has recommended what is necessary and has not charged crazy expensive prices. She along with her staff are amazing. This is the place to take your fur ball if you truly love them.

Dr. Martha and her staff are all very professional, good service and attention. I'm glad I found you after my Billie Omar had a second relapse, after several acupuncture therapies and all her effort. Thanks to her my boy is very happy with her wheelchair. Once again thanks guy. God Bless you all.

Went for an evaluation on one of our rescue pups after Spine surgery and Dr. Marta and the staff were very professional, caring and answered all my questions and we set up our pup for Under water therapy sessions for her final recovery from surgery.

I love this practice. Dr. Sanchez and her technicians and staff are just great.welcoming and caring. After receiving a diagnosis of arthritis on my boxer who was beginning to go lame and witnessing a progression of symptoms I changed clinics at the advice of a friend and Dr. Sanchez recognized it as degenerative myelopathy which a test confirmed. With prescribed PT my dog was able to negotiate this incurable disease in the best possible way. Dr. Sanchez is extremely knowledgeable.a great vet. My dogs and cats are in great hands in this clinic.

My sr.rescue schnauzer mix has disc compression which flares up from time to time. I've had her assessed 3 times over 3.5 years and the advice has proven solid and accurate. I rest easy knowing that her pain is minimal and that she can be helped without drugs and what I need to be watchful of and how I can avoid injury. I was worried my dog would be stressed without me under the new COVID safety measures where you part w/your dog during exam. She actually was not stressed and I don't see any dogs come out of there stressed!

RESPONSE TO OWNER:

The doctor is claiming today was my first day at the facility and never had the opportunity to meet me: unacceptable. I was the one that took my dog to her original appointment and to 6 out of the 9 visits she had here. In fact, her first evaluation was a video call that the doctor had with me. I have been the one to take my dog every other time to her appointments except for 9/23/2020,9/30/2020 and 10/10/2020 when my parents took her. Kahlúa’s last evaluation was not “a month ago” like the doctor stated, it was on 9/30/2020, exactly two weeks ago. Regarding the heat stroke you mentioned, my dog was perfectly fine before she entered your facility. There was no video call with my parents like the doctor claims. I did not decline any follow up exams, I just asked that since today was her last appointment there, if there were any at home therapy recommendations. In relation to what my first review was about, how a member of the staff incorrectly carried my dog, you have commented nothing. I stand by my poor review and was expecting a more professional response and approach from your part.

I brought my dachshund here after her spinal surgery which was already a tough experience for her and for us. We were recommended here after her surgery to reinforce her walking abilities. This doctor is ok.nothing really positive I have to say about her. She calls you after evaluation (which she charges extra for) and just tells you a bunch of negative things you’ve done for your dog, her eating habits, etc. I still decided to have her do the underwater treadmill treatments. The people that work here are rude. I had a lady come out and carry my dog in a way I was told she could no longer be carried after her spinal surgery (she needs to be carried with both hands at all times and her spine and back legs need to be supported). I told her to please not carry her like that. She proceeded to say “that’s weird, the doctor said I can carry any dog like this *carries her by her chest with her legs and spine dangling*” which is the exact way she shouldn’t be carried. After I told her to please carry her correctly, she just grabbed my dog and walked away without fixing how she was carrying her. My dog really doesn’t like this place. She cries and nervously trembles every time I bring her here. She usually doesn’t do this. Due to COVID, everything is curbside and I can’t accompany her inside. I am so glad this is the last session I had paid for. The people that work here are rude, the doctor isn’t the friendliest either and they take forever for everything. Never bringing her here again. I wouldn’t recommend for anyone that just went through something traumatic with their dog (like a spinal surgery) bring them here, EVER.

The therapist carried my dog (dachshund) in an incorrect way (under the legs) putting unnecessary pressure on her lower spine. We mentioned it to the therapist and asked her to carry our dog the correct way, and she said "I don't know who told you that but I've always carried dachshunds this way. " The center has been quite the disappointment and I hope they coach their staff correctly so future patients don't have to go through what we did.

I have recently taken my 10 year old cocker spaniel to Dr. Sanchez for a inoperable neck injury. I had been dealing with this severely painful injury for over a month by the time I brought my dog to Animal Health and Rehab center and it’s safe to say I was starting to feel hopeless. From the moment Dr. Sanchez interacted with my dog and myself I knew I was in great hands. Due to COVID I’m unable to go in with him which made me extremely nervous but I was on FaceTime during the entire visit. Dr. Sanchez is extremely knowledgeable in her field of expertise and overall a trustworthy person. She explains everything in a way that is easy to understand and never once made me feel rushed. She takes her time and is thorough with her observations. Aside from his neck issue, she even diagnosed him a ear infection! Her staff is professional and overall amazing. I couldn’t recommend Dr. Sanchez and her team enough. They are truly assets to the veterinarian world.

Been going to Dr. Sanchez for years to give exams, and rehab.to my dogs. Excellent staff service. Dr. Sanchez takes her time to explain everything about your dog's exam and rehab.progress. Have recommended her to others, and they are very happy with the service, and rehab.progress on their pets. Prices are not bad for the type of Water Therapy given to your pet. It is worth it.
