Great caring staff. Drs are vey caring and explain care needed. I’m very pleased with this office.

My cat has never been to a vet and when he got really sick they were so sweet to be able to squeeze me in. While he did not make it back home with me everyone was so sweet and compassion in helping me make the best decision. I would highly recommend Dr. Rodriguez.

Every member of this office was extraordinary, especially the veterinarians. Very grateful!

Animal Health Veterinary is a wonderful clinic! The staff & doctors are are all super friendly and knowledgeable. I've been taking Rambo my Cavalier King Charles and Mila my little senior Maltese there for years. They see Dr. Collazos who is absolutely amazing but on occasion they have also seen both Dr. Rodriguez & Dr. Readdy who are also really great! I highly recommend this practice!

I've always had difficulty finding a good vet. This entire office is the best. I dont have a single complaint about them.

Dr.readdy is all about the money. My cat was there for upper respiratory infection, was told he has asthma and to read up on it. Well months later my cat's still having asthma attacks and needs to be put on something to help open his airways. Dr. Readdy claims she needs to see him, I stated anything is the same nothing different about his behavior. Was told she would call me back the next day and nothing. Time to find a vet that's not all about the money. Meanwhile my cat's suffering.

My dog had some kind of allergic reaction and he started swelling. Our regular vets office is closed on Wednesday. I called every vet in Hernando County. They were the only vet willing to see him on short notice that wasn't an established vet. Everyone I met and spoke with were all very caring and supportive. Steven was our vet tech. He was great! I also wish I would have gotten the name of the lady that answered the phone and handled my frantic. I'm so very grateful for their kindness. Thank you for everything!

We came to euthanize our dog, but she such a loving dog and gets so excited around people so dr. Hughes didn’t want to euthanize unless she knew for sure it was necessary after doing a thorough examination out of her own pocket and expense. She determined our dog had liver and pancreatic cancer and we’re so grateful to have an answer. And have peace. God bless these people for all they done for us today. They treated our dog Chevy like she was they’re own I will be forever grateful for this experience

Dr. Readdy and Steven were amazing during the last few days of my fur baby's life.
I was not a current client, but they took me under urgent conditions. They were so compassionate and treated us like family.
My many thanks to the entire staff for making a very hard situation bearable.

5 stars for the office staff and 3 o u t of 4 of the vets. Dr Reddy loves to up sell. When you ask for a script, because the pills she wants your pet to take are selling for 20 dollars there and Chewy is selling the same for $3.50. She claims patient refuses medication and claims u r rude to everyone. No Dr Reddy, just you. You blurt out to everyone accusations that a coworker, Stephen, is overriding other vets orders while I sit there saying Dr Reddy that isn't what I said and its not true! You keep yelling it out though so everyone there can hear it and u humiliate ur coworker based on a lie!
Then u send me a letter saying I've been rude to everyone on my last two visits so don't come there any more!
I have been going there for years and everyone there is amazing and I do not believe anyone had any issues with me. You don't do what the patient asks u to do, test for Cushings, no, you diagnose by sight, do not listen to the customer, you upsell and you are offended when the customer wants a script to save money ordering through Chewy because she has 10 pets! Shame on you Dr Reddy, shame on you!

My wife and I have been going here for almost 9 years. The doctors and staff are fantastic. Would not want to take our pets anywhere else.

They understand what you are going through. Even thou it is not a good ending. My baby had to go to sleep because her quality of life drastically changed in a very short time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You guys made it seem ok. I miss her so much.

I brought my cat in for a swollen toe. I made a same day appointment and was told my situation was considered an emergency and would have to pay $75 for the emergency visit rather than the $50 for the regular visit. I got there and waited 45 minutes for a room. The veterinarian was very nice but began cutting my cats nails without asking me or saying anything and I was unknowingly charged $30 for a nail trim that I didn’t even ask for. I could’ve cut her nail’s myself.

I can’t begin to express my gratitude for the entire staff and Dr. Readdy. My 5 year old shepherd was experiencing serious neurological issues that popped up at of nowhere, and my vet at the time was not able to see him. Animal Health staff made sure to see him even with him not being a current patient, they also reached out to my vet to retrieve his records prior to us coming in. When we arrived the staff was very kind and accommodating. Dr. Readdy reviewed his history and spent alot of time with us observing and assessing his symptoms. She went into detail as to what she thought was the issue and formed a plan with me for treating him. A few days later his symptoms were not improving and I called back to speak to Dr. Readdy she called me and we spoke about other options and she even squeezed him in that day for x-rays. She still spent a lot of time with us assessing his X-rays and symptoms even though she was the only vet there. Now my pup is almost back to normal and I’m beyond grateful for the care that was provided for him. Thank you so much Animal Health staff and Dr. Readdy!

Only one who could help immediately stitch up my dog after she was attacked by another dog suddenly. They did an amazing job and she has healed now and it is looking better and better every day! They were so kind and compassionate during the whole very traumatic experience and were very understanding. I highly recommend them, thank you so much to the people who helped us during it and went the extra mile to clean her up and make her look pretty. It meant the world to us.

No other vet in the area could diagnose my dog properly. Dr Reddy is truly amazing and not only figured out the issue but my dog is making an incredible recovery!
