Animal Hospital of Hallandale, Hallandale Beach FL

I love this place and even my dogs love it! I used to take my 2 doggies there a while back before they passed, but I moved and got a new puppy, didn't like the vets in my area, and drove for 45 min to this hospital! Well worth the drive! I recommended Dr. Barbosa to some of my friends as well, and they loved him and the clinic as well. They take great care of your pets! Highly recommend!

Great service! Puppy had fallen off the couch and did laser therapy 3 days in a row and helped him get back to normal!

I came to this hospital looking for a second chance for my Gatica and I am very grateful because on 2 occasions we thought about the plan to put her to sleep, a tough decision but due to time, economy and mood, we were already exhausted but Yefri and the doctor were trying and analyzing things.and hydrating her until they found the solution. On the last day, the doctor told me to take her because he wanted to treat something and that something changed everyone's lives because we were able to continue with our travel plans. Right now we are in Mexico. The trip was calm and now it is She is recovering because she had not eaten for 10 days, we are happy and she is full of mutual love, thank you for putting your heart first Thank you so much for such good care and dedication, congratulations

We have had such a great experience with the Hospital. Jefferey has been amazing at helping us with our appointments and medications and Dr. Cepeda was so knowledgeable at helping my wife with Logan's epilepsy and understanding us by working with us an trying a new medication. We are thankful for the service and attention received.

My dog, Wallace, was hit by a car and needed surgery. They were quick to respond and Dr. Canabal did a tremendous job with his surgery, while also charging me a realistic price (not like other places that were hiking up the estimate like crazy). Staff is amicable and sensitive to Wallace's needs. I highly recommend this place for all your pet needs. Wally says thank you Animal Hospital of Hallandale!

The visit was great Jeffrey at the front was very nice and helpful. Dr. Javier Cepeda was nice and helped with getting us the prescriptions we need for our Golden Retriever who requires them in our stay in Hallandale Beach.

Dr. Barbosa and Dr. Cepeda have been incredible with my dog. The appointments are always on time and the staff is very caring and efficient. The office is very clean and professional. I fully trust them with my dog. Peace of mind! Thank you, Animal Hospital of Hallandale!

Thank you to Dr Cepeda, Jeffrey and the rest of his staff for the great care they gave my dog Kayla. They’re such wonderful people and kept me updated throughout the whole day. They saved Kayla’s life and she’s back to normal. Attentive and affordable! Couldn’t recommend enough!

The worst experience in my life! Receptionist is very very rude and it’s dirty! Horrible atmosphere!

I cannot in good conscience recommend that anyone bring their pet to this veterinary clinic.

In response to the owner's reply, I would like to note that my "inappropriate behavior" was brought on by the inconsiderate and unprofessional in the handling of our case.

Instead of approaching me with concern and attempting to deescalate the situation, Dr. Cepeda found it appropriate to berate and insult me.

Dr. Cepeda asked me if I ever make a mistake at work.   Of course I make mistakes, but I when I do, I take ownership of my mistake and work to make it right instead of verbally abusing and blaming the recipient of my mistake.

The Animal Hospital of Hallandale may be excellent with animals,  but their people skills leave a lot to be desired.

Dr. Barbosa is a very professional Veterinarian and compassionate person, I recommend him 100%. He has saved Garfield's life 4 times since 2010. He and his staff make a great team!

We received our USDA Health Certificates to travel internationally for both of our pets the same day. Super efficient!

I brought in my 2 cats as an emergency walk in when I couldn’t get an appointment at my regular clinic and was seen immediately. The staff is wonderful, they tracked down all my cats records, and they are extremely helpful. Dr Barbosa is clearly an animal lover and more importantly an intelligent and experienced DVM. They are taking great care of my babies. Highly recommend Animal Hospital of Hallandale.
