Ankle & Foot Associates (South Tampa)

Dr. Auguste at Ankle and Foot Associates provided me with the best care I could have asked for when I stubbed my toe on the bed. He was professional, knowledgeable, and made sure I was comfortable through the entire process. He explained all of my options and the procedure to fix my broken toe thoroughly and clearly. The healing process was quick and I am now feeling back to normal. I would highly recommend Dr. Auguste and Ankle and Foot Associates to anyone who is in need of help with their feet.

The doctors at this office are all very friendly, attentive and focused on patient’s wellness. Staff also assisted in reasonable wait times and displayed warmth and efficiency. After 9 months of self treating plantar fasciitis, Dr gave pain meds and an injection and recommended orthotics to be used every day which did reduce the pain enormously. Thank you.

He's very knowledgeable, and his professionalism from start to finish speaks volumes of his dedication and commitment to his patients and their needs. The entire process from taking out the glass that was in my foot to even the follow-up checks to make sure I'm doing well made me aware that I'm in good hands. His care and patience allowed me to be comfortable while being very informative on everything that would happen step by step throughout my visit. The procedure was quick and painless, and Dr. Auguste was very thorough with the follow up care instructions. Super friendly and trust worthy podiatrist. I felt very welcome and very well treated by him. He made the whole thing pleasant and was in a very good mood. Very polite and a real professional. The receptionist was also super nice and very patient with my questions.

Based on other reviews, it seems the doctors of Ankle & Foot Associates are excellent. My review is not on the medical providers but the person who makes appointments and the receptionist at the Swann location. My experience with each was terrible and disappointing. The practice should invest in technology, such as on line appointment requests, texts to confirm appointment dates/times, on line completion of new patient forms, patient portal, etc. Usually I prefer dealing directly with people, but in this instance the people at the practice I dealt with were horrible and by no means, patient oriented.

Dr. Honeycutt is thorough and has been helpful in getting rid of my diabetes caused toe nail fungus problem. He discussed the importance of trimming my tow nails carefully with clean clippers or scissors and washing and disinfecting the nail areas to prevent infections. He trimmed my big toe toe nails and a few others that were showing signs of fungus growth. He also prescribed the toe nail fungicide laquer which I was able to buy at Walmart pharmacy in Brandon, Fl for $25 with one of the discount drug club cards. The Dr indicated I could do this and am finally on the road to clearing up my toe nail fungus. Thank you!

Dr. Birau is AWESOME! He is very thorough and has a great bedside manner. I took my son there and he received top notch care. His office staff are wonderful and will help you in any way possible. I would definitely go back in the future, and I highly recommend him.
