Annia R. King, D.O. reviews
6Another visit and never disappointed. From the front desk to the Medical assistant and Dr. King. If you are looking for an amazing PCP, this is the one. You won't be disappointed.
Best primary care doc in last 50 years. Quick effective diagnosis. Great communication and always effective treatment. Office staff is amazing, professional and efficient. Makes going to the doctor a pleasure. Thanks Dr King for your wonderful care.
I just recently became a patient of Dr King and do glad to be on board. She is very personable, friendly and especially great is that she actually takes the time to listen. That is so hard to find in a doctor nowadays. Her receptionist Saray is truly wonderful. So friendly and helpful. Office lobby and exam rooms are super clean and the location is spot on for any Miami Laker.
Unfortunately, I didn’t have the opportunity to meet the doctor due to the poor and lack of consideration from the office staff. I scheduled the appointment over a month ago (mind you I’m in excruciating pain) my insurance was checked multiple times and they called me the day before to confirm my appointment. The day of my appointment, the office staff informs me that they do not accept my insurance. “Well, they approved me over a month ago of a valid insurance, you called me yesterday to confirm my appointment and now you don’t accept my insurance card? ”Not only did I waste my time, but I took time from work to attend to my so called fault appointment. Please make sure you speak to someone in the office who knows what they’re doing because she was clearly clueless.
Review is not of the doctor - the doctor was great. Review is aimed at improving pt experience from staff… I had an early annual physical appt today. I went fasting and made sure to drink water to make blood draw easier. The medical assistant who was there was completely incapable of drawing my blood. She was nervous, timid, and seemed straight out of school. She poked me once, didn’t get a vein, and said she didn’t couldn’t find another vein. Now I have to go to a lab (appt is far out) and am wasting time in my day for something my PCP should have done. I asked if someone else could try but no one else knew how to draw blood? Strange.
Medical Assistant also did not know how to properly put on my blood pressure cuff - the tubing did not align. The doctor also had to redo my pulse bc the medical assistant also didn’t get an accurate pulse reading.
I was told the medical assistant was in training - but if she’s in training the trainer should also be present, I believe no trainer is onsite… very disappointing.
The staff is friendly, courteous and they do not make you wait in the waiting room a long time. They call you in fast as long as you get there on your appointment time.
Dr. King takes her time to explain your medical situation and even the medication she is prescribing.
