Ansley Parke at Orange City

Worst place to work at; to live at. The staff is horrible, especially pansy and the blonde chick with a lisp. I previously worked here and was bullied and told I was rude and everything by the other employees but I was a favorite by all of the residents there. The carestaff aren’t certified in anything so if your grandparent or parent is having a myocardial infarction or needs CPR don’t count on them. They don’t even know the correct range for O2 on someone who doesn’t have COPD or any lung disease. Might as well call this place “Death Parke”. It was terrible under Atria, American House, and this new company Ansley Parke. And from what I am told from someone I know, you can’t even visit if you used to work there. Never mind the fact that you consider the residents family, since you’ve known them for over 4 years and built a connection with them.

This place is a roach infested dump. This new company, Ansley Park) took over a few months ago and it keeps getting worse and worse. The food is horrid and served cold. Terribly Understaffed, HIGH turnover of staff too. Stay clear unless you hate whoever you’re going to place here.

From working in many places, I will have to say this is the most genuine place managed with people that care are willing to work together as a team and staff that care for the residents.

Ansley Parke at Orange City (FL) is an exceptionally well-operated, professionally-staffed senior living community. Its staff are unusually friendly, caring and compassionate, and take a real interest in the health and safety of all residents. I toured and/or assessed more than twelve other senior living communities in Central Florida, and none can compare to Ansley Parke at Orange City. This senior living community offers the best housing options at the best price with the best service. My 95-year-old mother agrees! She loves the health-conscious food entrees (low salt and sugar) ; movie night; how clean the premises are kept; and the professionalism of the front office and nursing staff. It's hard to recommend this senior living community highly enough. Five stars!

I left the above review in December 2022 and continue to marvel at the excellent care provided to my mother by the caring staff of Ansley Parke at Orange City. They are phenomenal! (8/29/23)

Terrible place, management is the worst. I would not put my family members here.

My father and I toured American House and it absolutely could not have been better! Community Relations Director Carla was super helpful prior to us scheduling a tour, and Mariea who is the activities director and gave us the tour was extremely warm, kind, knowledgeable and funny. All staff and residents we encountered were welcoming and positive and the facility is lovely.

If you are looking at reviews here then you are contemplating placing you parent in an assisted living home, which is one of the most difficult choices to make. Our father has been living here for about 3 years. The staff is so good to our father, they all know him by name. The front desk is always helpful. The nurses are involved and informative. Jeff the director always is available. Since it is a smaller community our father feels more at home. Thank you to all the staff for helping ease our minds by knowing our father lives in a caring place.
