Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza & Wings reviews
14This place should be ban from selling pizza. I should of just gone to a supermarket and bought a frozen pizza. This was the worst margarita pizza and cheese pizza ever my pizza review 0.0. I had to go and buy a little Cesar’s pizza it was way better and cheaper then the 40 dollars that I spent. The money doesn’t bother is the time that I can’t have back waiting for this horrible pizza to be made. The one star is for the customer service the older gentleman in front taking orders was really nice I can’t take that way… but your pizza is horrible
Everything was absolutely magical, and it was made even better by our server Hector. I don't live around here but I'd be a regular if I did. Pizza was phenomenal, service was top notch. I want to live here
We come here regularly. It’s easy, fast and reliably good. It can be tough to get a table if you come after 730/8pm some nights but if you arrive early it’s no problem. Pizza tends to have burnt edges but tender inside and great flavor on the crust. Wings are great, Italian salad is terrific.
They have good variety in the pies. We got “Paulie’s Pie” and it was very good. They load the ingredients on top and it’s usually excellent.
Full bar inside. Only about 20 tables. Servers are pleasant and helpful. They do a huge business with takeout so consider that if it’s super late and you can’t get a table.
Overall, I’d say the food was average and service was poor. The pizza had a very burnt crust (some people might like that), but tasted okay outside of that, the pasta was very plain. Where the stars really get knocked is for service. Our waiter seemed to avoid us, we waited a long time to get a menu, to put in our order, the food came quick, but we waited forever for the check, despite our efforts to call him over. He never stopped by to see how the food was. When he packed up our food he stepped on my toe, and did not apologize. While we were paying the check he sweeps the floor and sweeps over my foot. Overall, I won’t return, there is better pizza elsewhere, but if you really want to eat from here, take out, don’t dine in.
Pizza a-little too burnt. But it may be due to that it had alot of toppings. Needs more craft beer selections
I paid $30 for burnt pizza. I order online and picked up at the restaurant. When I got home I opened the box and most of the pizza was burnt. My first and last time there.
Great spot! Tasty pizza, great service, non-excessive wait times like at other locations. A little pricey for pizza, but this place is more of a sit down restaurant anyway. Our bartender was fantastic. Would definitely recommend.
Loved the place until we ordered the wings on a Saturday night and they were soggy, we couldn't eat them.
We ordered take-out another day: Caesar salad (which was not fresh at all) and rigatoni and 2 meatballs (we found 2 small pieces of meat and one mushroom in the pasta. What was that about? Not going back!
We literally just got here 10 min before closing and I feel bad for that but my husband was craving the wings and let me tell you.it was great! The food was excellent and the server Daniella was super attentive, very respectful, caring and the other coworker very helpful, everything came fast and hot thanks so much to the whole team in the restaurant, we are definitely coming back.not at 9: 50 pm jejeje I promise
This was the first time having Anthony's. I must say the meatballs are the BEST I have ever eaten! I also wanted to say our server was so knowledgeable about the food. Nestor gave us excellent service. We will be back.
I ordered a 16" margarita pizza with black olives and prosciutto. I received a 12" pepperoni pizza with prosciutto and black olives.
Im giving 2 stars because the first person I talked to was friendly but she put me on hold and someone else answered. First she answered with "what's the problem" not even a hello. 2nd she explained that since it was uber that I had to go through them, understood.
Then I asked about getting what I ordered since I still needed to feed people. She said I would need to reorder, understood. Then she said I can ask the manager to give you a free pizza but you would need to pick it up. That was nice but I couldn't go. So she told me to do another order from uber if I needed delivery, ok.
Then she said " did you understand or do I need to repeat it" very condescending tone.
Mistakes are made all the time but customer service should not be a mistake.do better.
Even though order was wrong its still looks burnt and we do not eat pepperoni. I'm going to post the burnt pizza that was not my order.
We ordered 2 large pizzas tonight. One was pepperoni and the other was a White pizza. The pepperoni one was good. However the white pizza was a HUGE disappointment. It was burnt to where I could not tell if there was cheese on it or not, let alone ricotta. It was baked to cracker consistency. Total disappointment
Update:
Come at lunch, not as crowded as dinner. Pizza and Salad combo was originally $25, now $31 but still a romantic special to share with 2 people.
In-dining experience makes Anthony's special. Quality food preparation is complemented by friendly service and nice music.
While prices are fair, I strongly recommend signing up for their Rewards program - which returns 10% of all dine-in or takeout purchases, net of tax.
