Antonio Maceo Park reviews
12Update: The Park is no longer clean and they no longer have workers on the weekends! The benches are filled with Duck “ stuff” and makes it harder to sit down and look at the water… This Park used to Be Clean when Elizabeth the Manager was here! It's like they don't bother to clean up the park anymore and you don't see the workers anymore.they either need to hire more staff or actually keep the staff accountable. I remember when I used to come here to sit down and relax and they had staff outside picking up trash or sweeping! I heard all Park attendants got a raise but for what if it's Dirtier the before. I'm just saying in my Opinion! Don't believe me check out for yourself! Just don’t be surprised by the amount of ducks, iguanas, birds and Trash everywhere!
Nice little dog friendly park, a small but nice little slice of nature in the city on the water. We had a little time to kill, while out running errands, thought we'd stretch our legs and give the dog something to get excited about.
This is a very nice neighborhood park with a community center, playground equipment and restrooms. There is a public boat ramp that has been under construction for over a year. This is the only public access to Blue Lagoon. Even though you can access the water to use a personal water craft like a kayak, the park staff says that it is prohibited. It is a shame that the area is closed.
I'm a local neigbour of this park. The reason for the 1 star review, is because they are doing a very small construction remodeling on the boat ramp area. They started this project 2 years ago and still not done. It makes no sence at all
Has the best of everything for everyone. From nice playground for children to shelters for anyone wanting to relax in the shade. Great ambiance.
Park area was nice. As of Feb 24 the boat ramp is closed and it doesn't look like it will be open anytime soon.
The boat ramps are closed and there is a no fishing sign. Not sure if the water is brackish or Fresh. Lots of ducks and other birds. I used a sink, no bites.
AkA "el Parque de los patos" nice clean park with a children's playground. Big lake on site. The only thing that I dislike are las chusmas walking around pretending to be mothers.
Very nice part to visit with nice views and very nice people a lot of people do gymnastics and yoga here definitely recommend
It's a cute small park. I was hoping to see some iguanas, but I didn't. There is a community center there. A small group was practicing Tai Chi. That was peaceful to walk.
The park is nice but the staff at the community center are terrible. Please replace them with people who have better people skills. Told us the place was closed and kicked us out when it was clearly not closed. Not a community center.
Beach is beautiful! Antonio Maceo Park in the distance gives it an extra beauty mark. The one knock is I feel they should have more garbage cans closer than how they have it now. It is a clothing optional beach fyi! Maya was naked the whole time! We will definitely visit again wasn't too crowded for a Sunday
