Anzo - Boynton Beach reviews
16They have had no air conditioning for two months! The poor staff is so so nice but so hot! Great food but they need cool air! We couldn’t even eat inside.
They changed their name from chickpea to Anzo and a few menu items but most of it is the same. $9.30 for a bowl. 2 bases 1 protein 1 veggie 3 sauces unlimited toppings and dressing. Some items are extra (lamb +$3) grape leaves or avocado (+1.50) see my photos. Very colorful healthy meal.
They have a plethora of choices. You get a lot of options for your money, but they could give more meat when you have to pay extra for it. Almost too many choices, should probably focus on quality as opposed to quantity.
Been coming here for years, and it is always consistently delicious, fresh, and fair-priced. As a vegan I enjoy coming here for falafel, tofu, and açaí bowls. I can’t recommend Anzo enough!
Food is solid for years BIG BUT they have not had lids on the to-go bowls since before Covid. Enough of the “supply chain” excuses! I order for all our team members and had two bowls spill all over the floorboard in my car because they insist on using a flimsy piece of tinfoil and you can not really re-seal the bowl if you don’t finish it.
This sounds like petty nonsense but Bolay is opening up the block real soon and they have covers.
I would love to modify the review and up the stars if they would just stop being so cheap.
Anzo is a fast food Mediterranean style cafe serving healthy Bowls and Pitas. It is a good alternative to the miles of processed burger establishments and nitrate filled sub chains on Congress Ave.
If you are in a hurry and want to eat healthier, this is your stop. I had the chicken bowl with basmati rice and curry sauce with mixed roasted vegetables. Satisfying. Take out. Dine in. Outdoor seating.
Update April 20,2023
Returned with a friend for take out. We ordered two Bowls. I created a bowl that had Turmeric Basmati Rice, Turkey Meatballs and Ginger Carrot Sauce. The dish had the most incredible blend of flavors. Delicious!
I loved it! If you like Mediterranean and healthy cooking, this is your place.
Great place-large portions, fresh ingredients, made-to-order falafels. Do yourself a favour and try this place out. Gustavo has obviously never worked in a fast-paced kitchen.
Try it for yourself. If you like Mediterranean style quick food, its pretty good. But, i also like stuffed grape leaves and curry.
Hubby and I came here on a Saturday. (We first try this at church) it was absolutely delicious. I love falafels and theirs is awesome. I'm eat mostly vegetarian and this was a great option. Hubby loved the sauces. Restaurant was very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back!
What a great place to eat. The food was fantastic. We had great experience here we will definitely be dining again.
There was no tofu and my take out order was covered with aluminum foil because for some reason they don't use lids. There was nothing wrong with the food but the entire experience was a little disappointing and I'm not sure how anxious I'll be to go back
Great food every time. Prefer it over chipotle any day. You get way more protein at Anzos.
I love the food. Just wish they work on the work station. Sanitary is important. I walked in one day and went back out because of how messy it was.
Always great in a pinch, Lamb is really good and delicious lentil soup warms on a chilly night.
Real good food! Healthy and tasty. Has lot of options for veggies and meet. And the most important taste amazing!
