I would leave this company a Zero if I could. What honest company knocks on the doors of the elderly after a natural disaster (hurricane Ian). They present an estimate that turns out to be a contract that gives them 15% of insurance monies. They delay insurance monies forcing the homeowners to seek repairs from others so more damage doesn’t occur to their home. But wait Apex still wants their 15%! For doing absolutely NOTHING! What a SCAM!
People are extremely stressed when severe damage occurs to their home, especially the elderly that are so trusting. Apex swoops in to take advantage to get their ill gotten gains!
There is a special place for people who take advantage of the elderly. DO NOT use this scamming company.

Tricked my elderly Vietnam veteran father in law into signing a contract. Was told he was signing for emergency tarping and attorney for his insurance claim. The representative left out that he was signing a contract that locked him into a new roof with them and a 15% cancelation fee. Plenty of same complaints on the BBB website about Apex roofing and restoration down to taking advantage of other elderly and disabled veterans. Also had three other estimates on the roof they came in at the most expensive at $24700 and wouldn't doubt with the cheapest supplys the way this company works. ****SCAMMERS STAY FAR AWAY****

Quick, reliable and honest
They lent us a generator after the hurricane, replaced our roof in a quick timely manner and came out and did our wind mitigation

COMPLETE SCAMMERS! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. Signed an elderly widow to an AOB, and left her with water leaking everywhere and mold all over her home. She hired me to help her because she felt so lost. She paid my company out of her own pocket to get her roof fixed so we could begin getting her home back together. Then when the settlement came in Apex wanted to collect the money and make her sign over a portion of the settlement to them. APEX Roofing DID NOTHING to deserve a penny from this poor lady, and are taking her money. ZERO INTEGRITY, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

Dealing with Apex roof and restoration for our new roof after hurricane Ian was extremely frustrating and disappointing. They seemed to have good reviews, yet our experience was one problem after another.

We were assigned a project manager from whom we never heard. We then received another project manager who never contacted us and after the third we ended up dealing with individuals at each part of the project. We constantly had to follow up as no one within Apex seemed to be talking to each other. We had questions that constantly required us calling people and were told dates for certain pieces of the installation where no one showed up and we never got a phone call. We were the ones who had to reach out and were basically acting as our own project manager trying to coordinate what had to happen.

The biggest issue was extremely poor communication among people within Apex as well as their lack of follow up and coordination.

The roof is now complete but we would not recommend using these people for a new roof.

Hello everyone
A few months ago, apex came to my house they have a seller to go around the neighborhood. I never called them they gave us one estimate of 19,000 dollars then when we signed, they said OK no problem we got the money from the insurance right then nobody came to us no nothing to call nada as your side in Spanish then they said OH no we what 48,000 dollars this is a regular house no two-story house noting one story house regular house are you listen to this.my house is not a mega mason you know it's a regular house right they wanted the two checks we side no and 48,000 dollars these people are ripe off don't open the door to these people they will not tell you the truth they will not they will lock you up with the sign this paper then I decide to cancel with these people and you know how much they took from me 5,600 dollars to do nothing they did not do nothing 0 because I cancel they charge me 5,600 dollars you hear this listen to 5,600 dollars they take 15 % of you cancel with them yes these people don't care about you and your roof and your house they don't care ok but thank god I found another company they did the roof for 19,000 dollars and am happy with them they are great if you need a roof let me now but please people don't go with these people they are bad they will take all your money I mean all if they can these people are no good.ok take care

Edit 10/12: Miles has been a God-send and I would have lost it even more had he not been so patient with me. I increased the stars to 3 because Miles has been GREAT working with me and I finally got my lanai cleaned. I can breathe again!

Edit 9/20: I did speak with Keli and Miles and did get my lanai repaired. I am still waiting on Apex to finish the repairs.

I really hope other communities who are thinking of hiring Apex to reconsider. They have left our community a DISASTER. Their garbage has been here for 4+ months so we had to get legal involved. There is more. Their roofing work seems to be good but they left holes in most of our lanais. They also failed to meet the deadline so we all owed over 1k in extra HOA fees. They even team up with a lanai repair company because ruining lanais is so common. Don't do it! I've been waiting for 4 months to have my lanai fixed and they keep postponing it. I wake up every morning and open my blinds to overlook the lake with all the mess from the roofers. They also left nails all over the community and reimbursed my neighbors for the hole in their tire.

Avoid them at all cost. They claim to my insurance then agreed to begin work on $89k plus wood charges at fort Myers office with cooper and Richard. Insurance paid $66k and I paid $29k with wood charges out of my pocket as agreed before beginning work (this was all signed before beginning work), they never discussed any additional supplemental or won’t say what was additional supplemental and won’t provide itemize invoice for it. Now after I paid $29k my part they want additional $14k. I wish I would not have use them to complete my work.

While I could not use Apex roofing for my particular situation, Chris DePalma and Kevin O’Neal went above and beyond in helping me in ways they didn’t have to. They are true professionals with integrity, which is saying a lot in todays world. I highly recommend this company!

I’ve worked for Apex for over 3 years and can’t say enough good things about this company. They have allowed me and so many others to help homeowners get the coverage they deserve from their insurance company after Hurricane Ian. Great owners, management and employees! 5 stars all day long!

My roof did great though the storm although my neighbors, brand new construction, did not. Thank you for doing a outstanding job!

The president of APEX is a good man because he took care of a minor situation that could have turned into something else. Thank you, sir. Especially during these difficult times, it brings hope to know that good people still exist.

Apex received my insurance settlement check, after mortgage co and myself endorsed it as my insurance company UPC was on the verge of going insolvent. They got my 23,000 check deposited it. Waiting to hear if it will clear. Got confirmation from insurance company it did. I have proof and copy of cashed check. So attorney who Apex referred to also got 9,000 who cashed fine. I either want my funds back or my roof replaced ASAP as I can’t get new insurance without the replacement.

Chris DePalma and Kevin O'Neal made a new roof for us, very easy working with them, pleasant, pay attention to us, very cooperative and very professional. Thank you for these job.
