I was very pleased with the treatment my fur baby received. They were very thorough and the staff was beyond great!

They are great with the pets however, the customer service is not the best, always put on hold for an extensive amount of time, and the aesthetic could use a makeover.

The doctor and staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. I was taken in before my appointment time which was great!

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The doctor was very attentive and was not rushed. She spent a great deal of time explaining and answering my questions.

Very nice place. The employees are friendly and helpful. The service was great and they treated our dogs very well. Have been there twice so far and I will keep going, since I like the way they operate the clinic and take care of their clients and their pets.

Unfortunately, we had to put our dog down, and they made sure that he was comfortable through the whole process. They even put a rush order in for the cremation so he could be home for Thanksgiving.

1 star absolutely. This our second time trying this vet and we will not be trusting our dogs with them again. The first time they misdiagnosed one of my dogs as “just a picky eater” when she was losing weight at a dangerous rate. She ended up having worms that Apollo Beach didn’t even test for. We tried them again this time based on reviews, thinking maybe we had a bad first impression. We took our second dog for a surgery consultation and although we got a new vet, she was extremely rude and unprofessional. My dog has small issues with anxiety, but the vet had no idea how to handle him or the situation, to the point where she suggested we sedate him before going into any vet appointment, including the actual surgery! He’s 9 and it’s never been an issue at any other vet to this point. On top of all that, we got a call the morning of the surgery telling us they had lost his bloodwork and had to draw it again. This place is incompetent.

I really enjoy how the staff cares about all of our fur babies. Yet my last visit with the doctor wasn’t to Pleasant nor friendly. I thank you all for caring for Sativa. Yet I think she will be going to another vet. I’m fully aware of my dog’s needs and have explained this multiple times of her medication isn’t working as well as her other meds are a bit too expensive. I felt as though she was talking down to me rather than talking to me. Nevertheless I will be taking my baby girl elsewhere.

Best office around. Easy appointments. Easy app for medications. Prices are very good. Staff is knowledgeable & docs are great!

Unfortunately I had to say good bye to my 11 year old shar pei, Lara on Friday, but I can't stress how wonderful the doctor was, how much she tried to help, and was aldo able to empathize with my pain. The front desk ladies were also really nice and sweet. I am devastated but I am also grateful for the level of humanitie, kindness and dedication of the doctor.

Vets are great. Only gave it a 4 because the exam rooms and waiting area need to be cleaned up and painted.

It was more than we could have hoped for! We mean that sincerely and from our hearts. Dr. Martin and Ethan engaged with us in a very meaningful way. We seriously need support for our little girl, Ellie, and she gave us her all! We know we found an incredibly special vet and the perfect veterinary practice. Thank you all.

They have consistently gone above and beyond for me and my pets on several occasions. They treat me and my pets with compassion and respect.

I had a bad experience with Apollo Beach Animal Hospital. First let me say when you walk in the office; the entire sitting area “cushions” are ripped and split on every cushion! Very in comfortable to sit on. I expressed my concern with my older cat. After examining her; they suggested ear cleanings and teeth cleaning. I agreed maybe she had an ear infection so they cleaned and packed her ears. Blood work came back normal (yes that was done and I expected that would be done). That evening my cat was now not only eating like original problem. She now has racing back and forth eyes and sever balance issues. Called them the very next am. They said bring her in asap to remove the ear medication. Now another Vet saw her this visit telling her the same issues. Also examined her. Suggest Meklazine for vertigo and intravenous IV fluid and antibiotic injection. Over 700.00 later and worse than ever. Took my cat to another Vet for a second opinion. Within 5 min of being there and listening to her symptoms. Examined her and felt a Mass in her abdomen. We followed up with Ultra Sound. She was a suffering and would not get any better. The cleaning of ears just made things worse for my precious cat I loved dearly. I am
Not complaining about the money; as much as how 2 of the Vets at this office missed the Mass by examine alone. I have made several calls as well as my daughter for them to clarify how this was missed and why? To them saying will call us back and no further follow up. In Memory of Oreo and pray another doesn’t suffer more than they have to like she did.

While taking my new dog Benito there for the first time, the staff was courteous and professional, very quick to schedule both the first visit and the neutering, and their communication throughout both visits was perfect. I highly recommend Apollo Beach Animal Hospital!

Stay clear! I will never use them again. We were devastated when our dog passed and took him here and paid $329 to have his paw print and private cremation so we could have his ashes returned to us. We had 3 discussions regarding what we wanted etc.
One week later they called and said they have his paw print but unfortunately the vet tech made an error at their end, and mark him to have a communal cremation and not a private cremation. So we did not receive our poor dog’s ashes back. Devastation all over again for our family.
Human error happens, however they admitted they did not have any check and balances in place to have a second person check the print out sticker placed on animal body bags. But assured me going forward they will do that now. That policy is alittle late to enforce at the emotional expense of our family. How could a vet office not have a manager or Vet sign off on something like this before a pet is picked up for cremation? I will never recommend this vet office to anyone, and will continue to spread the word of what they did to our dog and our family.

We've always had such a great experience at Apollo Beach Animal Hospital! We've been taking our dog for about three years and they've always taken such great care of him! We went in recently and Dr. Grether and Nurse Melissa were SO helpful and patient with him! I couldn't rave about them enough. They were so knowledgeable and helped answer all of my questions and truly treated our dog as if he was theirs. Such a great staff!

I would not take puck no where else. Your office does and amazing job with puck. He is happy when he comes in and is happy when he leaves. Thank you for taking care of him
