Apria Healthcare reviews
15Such a friendly bunch! From the time I walked in the front door they were so helpful and friendly.
I would like to single out and recognize an excellent effort by your customer service representative Melissa Williams (at the Jacksonville FL branch). Melissa is a great listener and is quick to develop and execute an action plan to address any issues. She is excellent at followup and also her communication skills are outstanding. My hope is that this review will help provide Melissa recognition for a job well done. Thank you!
I received a call this morning claiming a owe a balance of 12.60. Per thier billing department the charges were incorrect, It's always a problem with this company they evenv. Charged my insurance company for products not received. I will be calling, the florida department of insurance regulations to make a complaint
The woman who manages/sells the CPAP equipment is great… have talked to her a couple times and has been very helpful and efficient.
I spoke Melissa & man was she on her job! She was so very helpful & kind! Her co-workers could learn from her. I will def recommend Apria to my family & friends. If I have to contact Apria again I will ask her Melissa.
I have not recieved my supplies but my husband use to have Apria and he had all his supplies when needed
Easy ordering process and congenial representative. This was my initial order. It was delivered to my front door. So far, excellent service.
These people are an absolute joke. We were told by my mothers doctor that a wheel chair is covered under her insurance. Sounds great right? Very Easy? Wrong. Had to call her doctor a couple times to let them know her wheel chair has not been received. After a few calls from her doctor to Apria, we learn Apria claimed they never received the order yet the doctor has confirmation numbers etc, so 100% negligence on Aprias part, after proving confirmation was in possession at the doctors office we then come to find out they lost the wheelchair and have no idea where it was sent to. THEN they call my mother demanding a credit card and how we owe them monthly payments! You cant even find the wheelchair let alone your own work orders! Just 100% stupid.
The response time and responding the my needs was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond. Extremely satisfied
I spoke with someone on phone who assisted me in setting up my orders of supplies for new cpap. She was very helpful.
Lost the hose connected to my facemask while traveling, went to Apria in Jacksonville, and they solved my problem by giving me a new one. Very professional and courteous, great service.
Tried for 5 days for someone at their corporate Apria to call me for reordering supplies and no one calls back. Local started my supplies but their corporate group took over. I get calls every other week about getting new supplies but then when I need something, no response.
Apria changed/saved my life.
I'm a 32-year-old male in pretty good physical condition (lifting weights & wrestling) apart from one thing -
My entire life, I have had difficulties with falling and maintaining sleep. I would frequently wake up out of breath or gasping for air. I would feel as though I just close my eyes even though I was in bed for 12 hours. I would wake up covered in head to toe with sweat and freezing cold. I would have chest pains frequently throughout the day. My blood pressure was higher than normal. I would have anxiety after waking up that sometimes followed me throughout the day. My testosterone would waver depending on how I slept which 99% of the time was poor in inadequate so my natural testosterone levels were slightly down for the most part. I can't list all of the negative aspects of sleep apnea, there are simply too many.
This machine, the ResMed Air sense 11 that I received about two weeks ago has changed everything. The machine itself is very simple to use because it's mostly automated to what your body needs so you don't really have to do anything. It's very quiet so it doesn't disturb my partner whatsoever. The mask and straps are very comfortable and after a couple of nights you don't even notice them. Even after the first night there was a tremendous difference. I woke up with no sweating no anxiety no headache no chest pain, I was actually energized and clear minded. My brain fog has gone away my memory has improved my cognitive function overall has undergone quite an improvement. I am beyond happy with this machine. This is enabling me to live life to the fullest and do all of the things that was never able to due to constraints with energy and motivation and memory. I seriously cannot stress enough how amazing this machine is. And the best part is all the user has to do is push the power button, that's it. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! THANK YOU FOR SAVING MY LIFE
Terrible, I just receive a replacement CPAP from Aria and was given instructions to call your office for a mask replacement because RCSM did not have the mask that I had been using for years. Betty the rep from your company seemed not accept that I do not want to face covering mask that came with your machine. She kept telling me that I need the face covering mask. I am contacting RCSM to get a replacement CPAP from another company as I am finding that Apria is simply too difficult to work with.
My Doctor’s office just switched my cpap supplier to Apria. When my new unit arrived after 2+ weeks it had the wrong mask. I called and was set up with a tele-health meeting (I believe with a respiratory therapist?) later that day to help resolve the issue. The Apria therapist was pleasant and said that he’d send the correct mask out the next day. However, the mask that arrived a few days later was once again the wrong mask. I called back and was connected to the same person who said that the mask I ordered (F30) was significantly back-ordered, that the manufacturer (Resmed) had ramped down on manufacturing that mask since they are moving away from that model and replacing it with the F30i model that I was sent, and that the manufacturer is advising them to tell patients that it could be 6 weeks or longer till an F30 mask is available. I called Resmed because that didn’t ring true to me (mostly because the models are so different) and they said none of what I was told was accurate; that the mask I ordered is not being replaced, that it’s being manufactured full steam as usual, and that there should be no problem getting them.
So why am I getting such mis-information from Apria?
