Good afternoon everyone, be very careful with this Apria company. They do not give you any type of service and then charge you. They sent me the machine with a courier, they do not have personnel to give instructions on how to use it and they do not inform you that if you have not used it more than 4 hours per night you must pay more since it is a condition of the insurance.
After several unfortunate conversations, I decide to pay the 11 months' rent to obtain the machine and now the answer is that due to lack of personnel, no one calls me to conclude my case.
During this time I contacted another company American HomeCare Equipment, the treatment and information were very clear, I highly recommend it.

Listening to the reviews. Doesn't sound like a good company. Sad! You are losing business by not making sure customers are SATISFIED.

The worst customer care experience you can expect!
A company that does not really care for patients well being should not be in the health care business!
And as someone that has pried in their business should get things corrected as obviously from the reviews they are a terrible company.
No one knows from the right to the left. No one answers the phone when you call the customer service.
They schedule a pick up on their own accord with out informing the patient. Then when scheduling a pick up they do not show up.
After updating the medical insurance, they end up sending the bill to collection agency even when the bill should have been paid for by the insurance company.
A total scam.will report to the better business burro.

By far one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had with Apria healthcare. Spoke with two representatives. Both women were lost in any explanation going back-and-forth with me and giving me nothing but attitude since the conversation initially started. It’s truly a joke, as a company it’s almost embarrassing to have that type of customer support/representative be on the same phone with customers. I’ll be looking elsewhere to order my new machine and supplies.

I received the CPAP machine and it is too large and too heavy. It takes up half of my side table. I would like to return it since I haven’t used it, and get all my money back.

FRAUD ALERT! IF ITS BEEN LESS THAN A WEEK YOU CAN RETURN AND GET OUT OF AGREEMENT AND GET YORU MONEY BACK! DO NOT TRUST A SINGLE THING THEY SAY! I got tricked into getting a CPAP from them. Not only did i get 2 defective useless machines from them in less than two weeks, everything I was told was a lie. I was expecting to have to buy a CPAP outright since Aetna advised me my policy doesn't cover CPAP machine purchases. When I asked them about this they said they told me this is different became this is a rental service and not buying one outright. I asked how much this was going to cost and they assured me on multiple occasions (over the phone and in person when i went to pick up the machine) that there would be no cost to me as long as I used the machine at least 4 hours a night. If i didn't use the machine then my insurance wouldn't cover the rental fee. This is what I was told. Nothing else. I also requested a different mask as i need one with a nozzle at the top. At no point in time was any pricing, commitment or billing going forward discussed. I was told to sign a piece of paper confirming I received the machine and I was aware I had to use the machine in order for my insurance to cover the rental cost.

WORST DECISION I EVER MADE! DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING WITH THESE SCAM ARTISTS! BY SIGNING THIS ONE SHEET OF PAPER AND ONLY ONE TIME YOU ARE ENTERING INTO MULTIPLE LEGAL BINDING AGREEMENTS AND COMMITMENTS THAT ARE NOT A MONTH TO MONTH RENTAL LIKE THEY CLAIM THEIR SERVICE TO BE!

Little did I know I signed a contract for:

1) a USED (I only found out by seeing what they billed my insurance. To this day they are yet to tell me they are giving me used equipment) CPAP Machine

2) They would bill the ENTIRE YEARS WORTH OF RENTAL FEES AND SUPPLY FEES UPFRONT. (they didn't give me the years worth of supplies by the way)

3) This amount was subject to my deductible. Also this was not collected at the time I picked up my CPAP. It wasn't invoiced. It wasn't disclosed at all. It's not even on my monthly account ledger if I create an account (optional.i had to register myself and never was I told to create an account to learn about their service) Even though they randomly and without notice charged me for this amount, there is no record for it that I was provided.

4) I agreed to autopay. Not once was I even told that I had to pay anything, so how did I find out I had autopay? You know that deductible I spoke of above? They randomly deducted it 16 days after I had picked up the CPAP. With no notice whatsoever they debited my account 2 days before my rent was due. I only gave them a card to pay for the difference between the regular mask the and top loaded hose mask. If no for that I wouldn't have even given them my card because I went to their office to pick up the device. How would I enroll in autopay for a free service?

So yeah. As you can see complete trash tier scumbags. The machine has already been replaced once and i need another one because this one isn't working properly either. I haven't even gotten that taken care of because the receptionist was so rude, defensive, and accusatory (she's the one who took my card and enrolled me in the autopay so of course its my fault because I can't read and I'm rude because I'm upset) she refused to do anything to assist me aside from return the machine. No refund or even any idea what would happen. Just get off the phone so I don't have to talk to you anymore. Billing was worthless. They were just apologies and we can't do anything you have to talk to the local branch. But they did tell me 2 tidbits I want to share with you

THEIR RETURN POLICY IS 7 DAYS IF YOU REALISTICLY HOPE TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK! I PRAY IF YOU ARE READING THIS AND GOT DUPED BY THESE POS'S ITS BEEN LESS THAT A WEEK

YOU CAN RETURN THEIR STUFF WITHIN 3O DAYS AND GET OUT OF THE EQUIPMENT AGREEMENT. You might not get your money back tho. Depends on the manager. Good luck.

Apria need to get it together! It takes for EVER to get the supplies. One day you speak to someone and they tell you the order is on the way, the NEXT DAY, I get a call from someone telling me that "My Insurance won't approve me supplies". This is after I was on a 3 way conversation with Apria and my Insurance company, who specifically told APRIA that they are an accepted member. I don't k now what to think. I'm not getting what I need. So, I can't recommend these people. I need my things or I can die from not being able to use my machine.

These people are the worst, I was supposed to receive an equipment for my son who is 12 years old in 2 days, and has been 15 days and nothing, also after trying to reach them for so many days, when they answer it was a lady with such a big arrogance, who treat me like if I were a dog, well I think I treat my dog better than she did with me, also she told me that they made me several phone calls, which was a complete lie, this happened today September 7 /2023 at 12: 37pm. Don't wait for this people, use another way, they are a really piece of work.and please don't send me the same answers you gave to everyone else, I don't need it, keep your copy and paste for the next one.

Husband was prescribed a CPAP machine and Rx specified needed to be programmed for immediate use and tracking (AirView). His CPAP was delivered 2-3 weeks ago (from Miramar to Homestead) and we were told had 30 days to return. Yet after numerous calls to speak with Apria.we still have a NON programmed unit that is being paid for and CANNOT be used. Still waiting on resolution. We have little over a week before they claim it cannot be returned as time limit has been exceeded.hmmm

I worked in medical DME field for 10+ years and this is unacceptable.bad customer service in an understatement. He is on hold for 1-2 hours just to have call picked up. Then they tell you someone will call you and next day comes, with no call. We do NOT recommend. We were even told on one call that he would have to drive it up to them. NOT.

We dont usually leave reviews.unless they are for exceptional service. This one takes the cake, truly. SMH

Service with Apria was the easiest, non-stressing, quick and reliable experience I’ve ever encountered. Doctors office took care of the referral and Apria delivered our wheelchair for my son with 48 hours. I would highly recommend Apria.
