I had my CPAP prescription sent over to Apria and within five days I receive my machine in the mail set it up was super easy with the instructions. I wasn’t liking the nasal pillow so I called on the phone to Apria and talked to Lisa. She had another one sent to me in two days. Super fast working with them. Chris and Lisa were the two I have dealt with and they’re just on it… answered questions and very nice to talk to. I had my prescription originally to Lincare and Sharon from there was rude and mean so I had doctor re-send to Apria where I was treated with respect.

It is sometimes hard to get the reservoir to click in. The tubes keep getting condensation in them and making weird noise. But overall I do like using it, but I cannot tell the difference in the morning. But it's only been 3 weeks since I've gotten it and I'm still learning how to use it so my opinion of it make change once I have it for longer maybe it'll start working and I believe easier in the mornings, my husband says that my snoring has lightened up a little. If my sinuses were clear it might work for me better.

I was given the phone number for Apria HealthCare by my insurance for a breast pump. When I contacted their office I was helped by Lisa who wouldn't help me until my OB office faxed over my insurance information and breast pump order. When I told her that my insurance company advised Apria reaches out to the OB on the patients behalf she told me she couldn't solicit a doctor's office. I work in healthcare management for orthopedics and I'm very familiar with how these contracts work for DME. If I had any choice, I would take my business elsewhere. I don't understand why she couldn't take my insurance information over the phone and verify my insurance was an in-network provider. I was very disappointed in her customer service. I have reached out to my OB and I'm waiting to hear back from Apria.

Update:
I confirmed with my OB office that my breast pump order was faxed two days ago. I called Apria to start the process to order my breast pump. I was helped by someone different. I was advised that they didn't have my order yet and I would need to contact my OB again and have the order refaxed. I told them that I wasn't going to do that and I was going to contact insurance for another company I could use. I called insurance, was given another company I could use. I called this company, they were able to verify my insurance benefits and coverage online and took my OB's office information to obtain my breast pump order. I will have my breast pump in 3-5 days.

The Melbourne office of Apria knows how to go beyond normal customer care. Being fortunate enough to get helped by Steve in some very tough medical situations I realized what an exceptional representative he is. Thank you Steve. And Lisa has also gone above normal venues in helping us out in a tenuous situation. This office deserves a special salute of thanks
