Resort Aqua Hotel reviews
15Awesome property. Rooms were very clean and spacious. The staff were amazing and super helpful. Perfect location just a block from the beach.
Perfect place and only a block from the beach. Very spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly. Would come back for sure.
Obviously one of the older hotels surrounded by giant hotels. Great location, great rates, friendly staff.
What a great little hotel. Rooms were very clean, the staff very friendly and helpful and just round the corner from a couple of great bars and restaurants. Gonna be going back
Basic rooms which are well maintained and clean 1 block from the beach front with the exelent archibalds bakery nerby which has great frendly staff and is great for breakfast and lunch
The staff at this hotel is cheerful, the location is amazing and you can tell they have tried to make updates to the building. However, for $370+ a night, I was surprised to see a few easy things that I believe need to be improved for the price.
1. The shower tile is the same tile you find in public school/public pool bathrooms. I felt like I needed to be wearing flip flops in there.
2. The bathroom hair dryer looked/performed like it was from the 80s. Not cute vintage, just extremely old and for the cost of the room it’s something that should probably be updated. Easy to do.
3. The bathroom window, which was on the ground floor and opened to the hotel’s outdoor guest lounge had a hole in the frosted glass cover. Someone standing out there could look in on my showering if they wanted to.
4. Overall, the floors were sticky and slimy, as if they were mopped with soap cleaner that was just left to dry and not actually cleaned with water. I kept wiping my feel on a towel before putting them in shoes or getting in the bed.
This would not have been such a downer if the cost of the room was $200-250 per night, but for $370+ per night I was surprised.
They offer a service like a 6 star hotell.
We had our best stay here for our trip.
And we wil use the place next time also
The staff, specifically Maggie, was super friendly and helpful! Maggie definitely made the experience worth coming back for. It’s a cute hotel but the walls are quite thin. The AC can balance out the noise though.
We stayed at the Aqua Hotel and the customer service was second to none.
Maggie was the property manager and she was attentive, friendly, helpful and her recommendations for dinner and breakfast were right on! I We felt like friends when we left. I would stay again! I highly recommend this hotel.
The Front Office Property Manager, Maggie was phenomenal. She checked me in and walked me to my room. I had a King Studio. It was spacious, clean, comfortable and it smelled great. My room was cleaned each day and fresh towels were provided. Any questions that I had about the area, Maggie was able to help. She recommended a rooftop lounge and restaurants. There are multiple swimming pools on site and the beach is less than 5 min walking (1 block away). The Front Office provided beach towels daily. There is another property located across the street called North Beach Hotel. There is a Cafe located at the North Beach Hotel called Village Cafe. The food was good. Guests have access to the pools and hot tubs at both hotels. The nearest CVS store was 15 min walking in the sun (6-7 blocks away). I purchased wine, water, snacks and souvenirs there. I went to clubs and bars in Las Olas and Downtown Fort Lauderdale on Nugent Avenue. I enjoyed my stay and I would love to stay again.
Super nice hotel, they only had one room left. It was beautiful, really nice pools, low key outdoor chill areas & the staff was so0o nice.
Our stay was perfect! Everyone there was beyond friendly and helpful. We had the most interactions with Maggie and she genuinely just wanted us to have the best experience while we were there. If you need anything they have a number to call or text and each office has a ring system to communicate immediately if they are away from the desk. The rooms were recently updated and more than enough space for my family of 4. The property has everything you would ever need with multiple pools, restrurants, entertainment, a convenience store, and just a block off the beach. Again I can't say enough about this place and I'll look forward to staying again when I'm in the Fort Lauderdale area.
Such a great stay! Went with my boyfriend and it was a great room for us. Within walking distance to beach and very close to the downtown nightlife. Maggie was very helpful and took her time helping us feel as comfortable as possible. Only downfall was that if you needed anything after 10pm it was difficult to find staff on the premises - We would have to ring a button outside of the front desk room and waited a bit for someone to bring us fresh pool towels that we needed. Besides that, overall it was a very great experience
1209 oddly equipped,
For safety, had to locate plastic chair to the shower as there was no 'grab rail' being 70+ I can lose my balance.
Sitting, I could reach my feet, oh joy! LoL
Aqua Hotel, seriously one of my most pleasant stays. I was super skeptical at first because I don't typically like motels. This motel was a pleasant surprise. Rooms were sparkling clean and updated. Access to 2 pools on the property and 2 additional pools + 2 Jacuzzi's on their sister property right across the street. Staff was pleasant and the room got turn down service, fresh sheets and towels every day. Unheard of in most hotels nowadays. The staff was very friendly. The location was steps from the beach, and very close to a cute little breakfast/lunch café, a hip little coffee shop/bakery, and convenient market. I absolutely will return. 4.5 stars, because 5 would be perfect.
