Aquachild Swim School, North Miami Beach FL

I brought my child to Scotty at Aquachild 20 years ago. She will be graduating from College this year. That was the best investment we made. Our daughter took to the water once she finished her Aquachild course. I highly recommend this course for ANY child living in South Florida as we are surrounded by swimming pools and bodies of water.

This is my family's second go round with Aquachild. There was no question we would be back again with our littlest guy. We had planned to go back next year but we had a scare with our 2 year old when he took a dive at a friend's pool. There was no hesitation on my part to call Scotty and Laura the very next day to sign him up a.s. A.p. I cannot speak highly enough about Aquachild, their staff, their way with kids and their technique. Every single instructor is great. From Scotty, to Alex, to Gina and D. Laura will always find ways to accomodate your schedule.

We will continue to recomend them to anyone we know.

I couldn't be happier with my children's results at this school! Highly recommended. We had previously tried other schools and the children did not improve, they did not know how to survive falling into the water. In just six weeks, my children, ages 3 and 2, are able to survive if they fall into the water. They turn, float, and reach the wall.

Amazing swim school! Scottie is the best! Took my daughter for survival swimming at 2.5 years. Shes swimming like a fish! Highly recommend!

I took my 3 yr old and 22month old to Scotty and Alex. We had a scare with my 23month old half way through the program. He slipped in the pool and before anyone can grab him he had reached the edge and climbed out of the pool! Before Aquachild he would freeze under water until someone took him out. The boys have gained so much confidence in the water and also now know to respect it. Thanks to Aquachild my boys know how to save them selves if they fall in the pool by floating or swimming to edge or stairs.

I love this school! The staff are all very friendly and dedicated to each child. Our little one started their initial program class when he was 15 months old and his results have just been outstanding. His confidence in the water grew each day more and more thanks to his instructor Scotty, who, despite the fact that our son was a tough little cookie, did a great job with him. He always provided words of encouragement and showed great dedication and patience with our son. I highly recommend this school to every parent, you will not regret it. There is nothing like knowing your little one will be safe in the water. More so, when they are taught by experienced, professional, and dedicated instructors who work day in and day out to give their best to every child who steps foot in this school. Thank you Scotty!

Aquachild is hands down the BEST swimming school in south Florida, I cannot recommend it enough! Our little girl was terrified of the water, we tried swimming lessons for years with no results. Within one week with Scotty, she was full head under water. By the two weeks mark, she started floating and by the end of the program we gained a little fish, now we have to plead with her to get out of the water. Scotty achieves miracles with a smile on his face, a calm and friendly demeanor towards the kids and always professional and on-time. He’s well beyond five stars.

We are so happy with Aquachild they taught our son to swim in record time in such a fun way despite the fact that he was totally fearful to begin with. I highly recommend Aquachild!

My family has had the honor of having both Scotty and Jimena teach our girls with AQUACHILD. I cannot say enough how amazing this team is! My girls both finished the 6 week course survival experts! And my now 5 year old is a total fish. Can’t thank you guys enough.

We had the best experience here. I couldn’t recommend them enough. For our initial program we had the instructor Alex and he’s so professional and amazing with the kids. I couldn’t be happier with his work with my 2 year old son. I look forward to continuing maintenance swimming with aqua child as well!

This school is absolutely AMAZING! My 2 yo daughter is currently in their initial program and her swim instructor Alex is the absolute BEST! He’s so patient and gentle with her and as a first time mom, it brings such comfort to my heart to know that she’s in good hands and she’s comfortable with him. Plus, she is actually floating and doing phenomenal! I already signed her up for the maintenance program and she didn’t even complete the initial one yet lol. I highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a program for their kids to learn to swim with instructors who are gentle and caring. My interaction with management has also been great and are very responsive to any request that I had via email or phone. You won’t regret it trust me!

We absolutely loved our experience at Aquachild Swim School! We wanted to expose our 22 month old to some basic water safety skills given we are always surrounded by water here in South Florida, and we are so happy we did! We were hesitant at first given we live in Miami Shores and thus an 18min drive away and the intensive schedule of a daily class x 6 weeks, but ultimately so glad we made it work!

We enrolled our toddler in the intensive 6 week class, and although there were some tears and crying during the first few classes (which his swim instructor fully anticipated and prepared us for!), it was unbelievable how in a matter of days our toddler actually loved being in the water and was learning all sorts of skills. Scotty, his instructor, is very patient and so great with kids. It is clear he has so many years of experience teaching kids how to swim/float and just how passionate he is about what he does. I am so grateful to him and his school.

On his graduation day, our toddler was able to float on his own while wearing a heavy sweater, pants, and shoes, as well as swim from and to his instructor, as well as some guided diving for toys. It was hard to believe it was the same toddler in such a short period of time (10min daily x 6 weeks).

Additionally, the front desk is very organized and very responsive to questions and/or changes in schedule, which is so appreciated.

We signed up for maintenance classes and were impressed he didn’t forget his skills even after a 2 month hiatus. Looking forward to more skills as we continue maintenance classes.
